Recently, I've been pining for the 1648: Der dreißigjährige Krieg mod for M2TW. It had flaws and fatal crashes, but it was fun.

History of Three Kingdoms for Civ4 is IMO a must mod/scenario. Really amazing work.

I've heard great things about Kaiserreich for Darkest Hour. I'm attempting to learn DH just to try it out (and failing at that, the dated UI is a hard stumble for me).

I got DH as my first paradox game ever after some googeling and never played it so far, since I plan to study - and I mean study - the manual first, but haven't gotten around to it so far. I really really hope this game will rock for all the effort I intend to invest into it.
