YuiNES1 - 2000B.C.

I'm going to wait until i see a clear map + some more players.

one with all npc's, other players, possible enemy's ;)

It would be best if you found one that isnt squished..

try using fill on MSpaint on it.. its all pixelly and will be a nightmare for you!

Oh so you want me to add NPC's now? I was going to add them with the update, and you guys would just give me a basic outline...

Regardless I have to go in like 20 minutes, so I cannot do much more.

Oh yea, we need an "update Zero"

This is where you place us all, along with a few NPC's and generally "set the scene"

okey, thats fine.

Nation Name: Tune
Ruler/NESer: King Jeal/Justo
Color: Green
Capital City: Ili
Religion: Pagan
Economy: Stable (3/5)
Technology: Early Bronze Age
Army: 1000 Bronze Age Spearmen, 250 basic archers (750 if Landlocked)
Navy: 5 Basic Galleys (0 if land locked)

Nation Description: After years of feuding King Jeal has managed to unite all regional tribes under his rule and is now beginning to look towards the sea. The Tunean people are great fisherman and farmers and use this to continue to sustain their recent rapid population growth. Trade has only recently begun to play a part of the Tunean economy as they continually explore and find new nations.

I'd like to start on Sicily or Crete. Whichever is free is cool by me.

Alright. Expect update zero to be up at something like 1 o'clock today as I have lacrosse from 9-11 and then again from 3-6.

I will start you at Sicily. There are only two plausible greek NPC's and one is the minoans

Great!

If you can keep up the rapid pase, this can grow into something big!

Yea, don't worry about having to write massive updates yet, just the bare minimim.. we can see everything on the map and the stats.

I would rather get five or six updates through relativly promptly rather than that point in time be months and months from now!

Capital City: Singodia
Religion: Polythesim
Technology: Early Bronze Age

HOLY HOW I HATE COPY CATS. *Shakes head in general direction of Native American NEScz* on the otherhand... I will not reveal my own hippocrital motives:rolleyes:.

The City Stats of Greece are always in dreadful turmoil.

In the past a Huge Empire ruled the mainland and the isle of Crete. But all was gone when the Dorians charged.

Pella was first to fall, Sparta the last.

After centuries of recuperation and assimilation. The first city state to arose out of anarchy was Cornith. Situated in the pass between Dorian invested north and Spartan freedom fighters to the south, they are in a wonderful position to free them all. The Great War started with the Valley Pass Blockade. At first the small seperate bands of Dorian perished in the hail of arrows, spears, slingstones and men. But soon the Dorian Empire of Athens (wow! Evil Athens!) took notice and attacked. The lines of conflict reached to Cornith and resuplies to Dorian of Sparta is under way. It was a dark decade when the Free Republic of Cornith almost fell and the Spartan Revolutionists almost defeated.

Until Uruyanis came.

Uruyanis was part of the Ruling Family. The Royal Family is decapitaed due to Insanity of the Pregant Queen and death of all males... But they have Uruyanis.

He lead the Cornithians to sneak attack Athens. The Dorian masters fighting the Spartans lose their base as the people over threw the ones that are left and freed the surounding lands with Cornith's help. The Athens were allowed for self government and alliance. They Chose the Republic System.

Far to the south the Spartans started a program to breed the best soldiers in the world. Rebels of the hills sent boys of 6 against the winter cold with out any other than a loin cloth and a spear. They stole and learned honor. They marched and fought. In the battle of Jurpa Hill the Dorians were crushed between the army of Cornish and the rebels of Sparta.

(It is you choice if Cornith took over Greece in Alliance, having Sparta and Athens survive, or having them puny and also have the Dorians survive.)

Update 0 – 2000 B.C.

The Mediteranean
A new civilization rises on the long pirate frequented Isle of Sicily. Led by it’s widely praised king Jeal for uniting the disparate Siclilian tribes he is now look to establish a commercial empire. Their population is exploding and new villages are frequently popping up across the landscape, and unlike cities of the past staying there. But there is reason for fear, for they face a more immediate rival in Tunis. The Tunisians are a Pheonician people, established at the city of Tunis on the tip of Africa. They are ruled by their warlike Queen Verin and also seek to establish a large trading prescense on the Great Sea. A more distant threat of Tune, Etrusca, rests in the Northern Italian penninsula. They are consolidating their power and were considered by many Greek observers to be soon the only Italian power. This may be stopped however, by the influx of the so called ‘’Latins’’ into Central Italy. They are yet to form any cities however.

After a long and terrible Greek war, the Greek city of Corinth emerges as Greece’s leading power. They are the leading power in Greece and none dare to challenge their might…That is, but the Mycenaeans to the north and the powerful and strongly cultured Minoans to the south. There are also shattered remains of old greek power in the north of the archipelogo. The Minoans are a peacefuly people, very cultured and preocupied with their grand sport of bull hopping. The Mycenaeans though, are much more warlike and have their eye on your apple of a civilization… Fear the barbarian hordes!

To the direct south of them lies an already ancient nation of Egypt, Lower Egypt to be precise. Located on the mouth of Nile River to the Mediteranean Egypt has emerged from a recently disastrous civil war crippling it’s formerly might empire. Of all the minor dynastic nations that rose up, all the revolutions have been quelled but one. Yet again Upper Egypt has become a separate power, allying occasionally with the people of Kush and flaunting their independence to the Pharoh. Your people long for them to be stomped into the ground, and doing so would greatly please them. A greater threat yet though, lies with the fiercely independent Kushians to your south. They seek to crush Egypt and take the Nile as their own river. Obviousely, war in this region is on a tipping point. Which power will emerge?
Near East

Out of the ruins emerges a new civilization from ‘’Between the Rivers’’ of Euphrates and Tigris. The Albonians, ruled over by the defense minded King Albon, fear greatly for their safety. For while they are primed to become a strong and wealthy civilization, they are bordered to the south by the warlike and reputedly vicious Assyrian Empire. You must assume a defensive position. If anyone can defeat the Assyrians it is likely to be the Albonian nation. They must muster their arms and defend themselves. Great troubles lie ahead. A possible ally of the Albonians, the Phoenicians are master of trade and the sea, and a possible raider may find their defense extremely lacking…
The Americas

A powerful new civilization, somewhat unstabled ruled by their lord Juma. The nation arose out of a need to protect themselves from the rampant and powerful Caribe tribers to their East and West. The Caribe are a warlike people, yet can be negotiated with. Their have been some minor skirmishes in the land of ‘’Seminola’’ (Florida. Does anyone have an actual Native American name for it?), an open and mostly unclaimed frontier. But a greater and stronger long term threat to the Cuban people are the mighty Olmecs, recently risen in Mexico 50 years ago. They seek to solidify their hold on Central America and become the master of several larger Caribean islands.

Other Nations

The Nabatean tribe is colonizing the tip of Ethiopia and Arabia, the South Americans are getting ahold of the Pacific coast and the warlike Germanics continue to terrorize their European neighbors with their bronze weaponry.

A few Qs:

is one EP buys ? Spears AND ? Archers AND ? Ships
or does it buy
? Spears OR ? Archers OR ? Ships ?

Also, what does 3/5 mean? Stable means +2 EP.

I Especially like you recuitment program! You can ramp up fast but get very little. Or you can go slowly and get the most units out of the least cash.

@ Itallian Nations:
Shall we trade?

@ Minoa
We respect you culture, shall we trade?

@ Me(Spelling? Northern Neighbor)

Don't get any ideas, we won against the Dorians and we can win against you. But we don't want war. Just peace. Will you accept trade?

@ lower Egypt

We understand you position, shall we trade?

The correct answer is or. And add research.

3/5 means that is the third best rank out of 5

Thanks, I thought that might be a good idea.

Orders sent!

@ Olmecs: We seek out partners for trade, this way we can improve relations + fortify our economy's. Would you like to form a trade-agreement?
