I had played manhunt way before seeing the review and it truly hits the target. He is also informative enough so you can make your own conclusions based on the reviews.

Didn't Sid Meier put his name on the game to inform people it was different from some other game? like a board game or something?
I thought they made a board game out of Civ3 recently. Don't know if it caught on, though.

He offers a unique review, very entertaining, and despite working under contract (so it seems), gives us proles a fairly unbiased insight into popular titles. He certainly confirmed my suspicions about Halo.

His newest review kinda sucked.........

I agree. The Silent Hill review wasn't nearly as funny as earlier ones. Also the closing joke was rather bland. Though I might just be comparing to the absolutely awesome "barbed wire" joke from Guitar Hero 3's review.

*sigh*

I didn't get a manual with The Witcher demo but I think I'm doing better at the game then he is. Although I havn't tried alchemy yet. I don't entirely agree with him, as I am definately going to buy and enjoy The Witcher, although the combat is a bit MMO like (click and attack, although I wonder if he knows about that when the mouse pointer turns to a flaming sword you click again to continue the attack moves).

You should all totally play Yahtzee's games, especially the funny ones (Rob Blanc, Odysseus Kent, and the third 1213 with its secret ending).

Then read his webcomics.

Then read his articles.

Then laugh.

id reccomend the Defoe series, they are adventure games that were quite fun (and difficult in some places)

they are in order: 5 days a stranger, 7 days a skeptic, trilby's notes, and 6 days a sacrafice.
Spoiler :
be sure to play them in the order i gave or they wont make much sense.

Spoiler :
there is some 16-bit nudity in the last one but its a very small part of the game.

Call of Duty 4 is great. And yeah, using grenades to force your squad to advance is useful.

Hmm, I'll have to try using granades until someone makes a mod which reduces the almost instant respawning of enemies!

I guess this review sort of makes up for his (IMNSVHO) poor review of The Witcher.

His reviews are almost spot on of what I think of many games.

Yeah, his review on "The Witcher" was bad. I really don't get why he is so upset about Alchemy and the interface. The running around in the bigger areas is annoying though, but I really had many hours of fun.

The newest one is good. I loled at 1:52. :rotfl:
