In the average civ game players are going to build many many buildings that are cultural, so having the chance of cities producing +2 or +3 culture that often would be unbalancing.

For that, it just considers any connected land mass. So in a europe map, if you built the pyramids where London is, cities in Scotland would benifit but not cities in France or Ireland or Italy because the latter are not dirrectly connected with a land route to london.

Well I just got colonization up and running on my sysytem. I'm running Windows ME and every time I get my first Congressman, the game crashes. Any idea of a way I can fix this?

@Dargoth, Even if they are all worth the same, I think you would be able to make, for example, 4 sugar cane treasures for the same ammount of shields it takes to make 1 gold treasure. At least that is the way I understand it from reading the other posts.

I doubt people are burried inside of the wall. That would cause a weak point in the construction causing the wall to be structualy weak at that area. More likely they just burried them in a ditch beside the wall. I read somewhere that for every yard of wall made something like one person...

If you can see a square or two that is inside their border you can contact them. I know from when a suicide galley sunk after just seeing some land claimed by another civ and the next turn that civ contacted me!

Open the Editer and then go to Scienario and choose Custom Player Data. Next go to Rules --> Edit --> Civilizations.... Where it says A Barbarian Chiefdon choose Arabia. Towards the middle bottom is the team colors. You can choose up to two different colors. EDIT: Welcome to CFC!
