Hearts of Iron
Beta Version

This is a 2WW modification, with many new units, buildings, techs, amm.
There are three scenarios included: pazific 1941, europe 1941 and the "Westfeldzug" (germany against france&britain, 1940)
if you see some wrong names and descriptions, please tell me, cause my english isnt really good ;)

Important!
many of the pictures in this mod, can only be used with this: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/de/deed.en restrictions, a complete list is in the mod file, with the name "Namensnennung.txt"

the credits are in the "Danksagung.txt"

i have added [VK]s "Feldkapazität" (i dont know, if this mod on the fanatics) so on every landfield can just be 5 units. i want to add more mod components, but i cant modding the dll, so i would need help at this things :)

i know that mod component,

i recommend you remove this mod part - cause the ai dont know how to use it well - this can cause the game to be very problematic my friend.

me and others tried this mod part, but its no good, its a nice idea but - vk didnt implement it well for the ai to use it.
 
i dont know if its true with the ai, but i dont want just stacking :/ and thats the only way i know to stop it, do you know a modcomp that stops stacking and the ai knows to use it, that would be great?:)
 
i know only one mod that have this part in it and to work nicely,
but, the problem is that its a part of a larger mod - a new dawn.
it has this past in it - you can limit the number of units on a tile from 1-10.

if you want this part youl have to do a lot of work - you need to take the dll from a new dawn mod (and).
and the relevant xml parts and do a merge of your mod with the files.
i have done this exactly with my mod - dawn of the overlords, but its a lot of work my friend.

the only thing that can counter ai stacks, is to give ranged attack to units and have collateral damage - so many units will be hurt in one attack - thats kind of compensation you can do - if you dont like stacks, give ranged attackers a lot of power that can hurt many units.

i dunno if you did a full game with your mod, but if you did - see how the ai behaves with the ck part - youll see some problems in ai movements.
as i said, i wouldn't recommend you to use this, but its your mod and your decision.

anyway - keep up the modding work, from what i saw, you did a really nice job.
 
the problem at massive collateral damage is, that the ai will also stacking, or not?

a lot of work wouldnt be a problem if it works, have this mod more things in there dll, or only this limit? cause i dont want a dll with many things that i´m not need in the mod :undecide:

sorry that i havent uploaded the mod on another server, i hadnt the time to do it. well, now i´m working on a new version of this mod, so i think that its make no sense to upload the old version again.

sorry, i should look on this thread from time to time..

well, i'm working still on this mod and at the moment i'm doing a rework on the unique unit graphics for the countries.
 
i see it. Problem is that i already worked on a new version before i stopped working on this mod, and this version isnt playable. So unfortunaly i dont have a functionally version of this mod on my pc.
i stopped cause i havent the experience to finish the mod how i planned it. Like a supply feature, seasons, a good battle system with range attacks, etc. So i work at the moment on another mod which i can realy finish. maybe i will someday restart working on this mod, but not soon.
