Colonialist Legacies: Histories of the New World | Colonial + Pre-Colonial civs

I’ve been trying to add some decisions to the mexico civ that I adapted from Texas and japan but I can’t make them work, normally when I update some civ I just copy the code in some .sql and .lua that was already in the civ, but it isn’t working. I left the codes, so maybe someone can help me.

it is on the modded setup, i do not use YnAEMP. May i ask what is a "TSL"? sorry for noob question

i tried it with IGE mod, Colonial legacies (Philippines, Canada, Australia) civ mods. only the Philippines will not appear when selecting a leader

Hey, a few minor issues with the Coast Salish mod.

1) The message that pops up when gold is spent by the Salish shows up whether you are playing as the Salish or against the Salish. Further, the grammar is wrong. "Having spend" should just be "Spending" or "The spending of."

2) The Sto:mex is great, it works fine for the Salish. However, if you are playing a game without the Salish and you end up getting a militaristic city-state that gifts you that unit, the gold bonus doesn't seem to work. Don't know if that's intentional or not, but it was a little surprising.

> Or it should be having sent.

I'm guessing that you meant "having sPent" and just couldn't find the "P" on your keyboard. ;) In any case, no. That leaves the sentence in a passive tense with no subject. (English is hard, I know, other languages make it WAY easier.) I could see "Your having spent" if you like that better, but I'll still go with just "Spending."

Still looking for a way to block the messages if the Salish are AI, though.

Hey Colonialist Legacies, I have an idea for a Mexican civilization led by Plutarco Elías Calles. Calles was one of the first populist presidents of Mexico, and his leadership in and outside of political office ushered in a new era of political manipulation, El Maximato. He's an interesting leader for Mexico. Here's an idea for you about how it could go... check it out if you wanna...

Plutarco Elías Calles - Mexíco
UA: Maximato
- Generals garrisoned in cities may be expended for a "We Love The King Day." After building a Constabulary or Police Station in a city, it receives the Callista Specialist, which yields +2 culture and +4 Golden Age points.
UI: Ejido
- Unlocked at Calender, yields +2 Food and +1 culture. Can not be built next to an adjacent Ejido. After adopting an Ideology, Ejidos produce +4 culture
UU: Constitucionalistas
- Replacement for the gatling gun, -10% production cost (203 vs 225). +2 Movement, may move after attacking. Has the March promotion.

Are any of these compatible with vox populi (community balance patch)? Will any of them be in the future?

@joekikas I have just released a Vox Populi compatible version of Canada. Check my signature for the link.

Do you know how to fix the bugs of Canada such as Hudson Bay Company does not work, 2 UGPs show in the DOM?
Are you using my version with CBP? I didn't merely update Canada, If you are trying to play it without CBP it will not work.

If you have specific bugs with my CBP version I suggest you post them here

He's presumably referring to the bugs that afaik are still present in the current Canada version, which he's presumably hoping you've either fixed for your version or have got an idea how to fix so he can perform the fixes himself.

I actually ended up scrapping the entire XMLs and SQLs for HBC/GVoyageur/Avro Arrow; it was easier for me to rebuild those components from the ground up than it would be to hunt down each bug. There indeed were a lot of bugs in the base Canada mod, but my goal was never to make it base Civ V compatible, and I never tested my changes with that goal in mind.

The voyageur is also missing some art assets, so I had to make those. Here's the unit flag and SV icon that I built for it

Small bug report for The Murri:

UB Humpy:
- Not providing +1 faith when city is connected to the capital

Decisions:
- No decisions are showing at all, not even for the non-Murri ones (so belonging to JFDLC). Do see a file in the Murri mod folder with content for the Murri decisions, so seems they should be there?

Playing with JFDLC pack belonging to v62/v63 (CP, EE, E&D, Suzerainty, More Lux, CulDiv, RtP v63). Attached the logs.

Would be great if someone could look at this and update the mod. Many thanks in advance!

That civ has not be updated to the newer versions of the mods you are using. Exactly none of their civs have been updated in s long time. Other people have updated some of them.
