WW1 gold USA
WW2 gold USA
WW2 gold USA
USSR MVPAre you counting incoming or outgoing points. Imma give WWII Gold to the USSR.
Spoiler scorecard :
9 now.only 7 golds?
In WW1 America was like a 16 year old who didn't medal, but everyone knew was the one to beat in the next Olympics.USA wins the gold in WW2 for coming out of it relatively unscathed and the world's dominant power (USSR gets silver because it suffered through a German invasion that took decades to recover from and arguably still hasn't fully recovered). USA doesn't even medal in WW1.
In WW2, the soviets won the war in Europe hands down and earned the gold. In Asia the gold goes to the US. Two different events. Not even the silver medal winners. Didn't even place in fact. I'd say the medal winners in both world wars are as follows:
WWI: Gold: Great Britain, Silver: France, Bronze: US
WWII: Gold: US, Silver: USSR, Bronze: China
In both instances Germany had strong routines, but their inability to stick the landing cost them.
In WW2, the soviets won the war in Europe hands down and earned the gold. In Asia the gold goes to the US. Two different events.
No labor theory of value for who wins the medal. We honor the USSR for the most determined, greatest contribution to WW2. We honor the USA with the gold medal of victory. Are you counting incoming or outgoing points. Imma give WWII Gold to the USSR.
