  • Yessir. Does tomorrow work? I just downloaded BNW so we could play but I'd like some time to work out the new mechanics of it.
I am indeed attending there, and I do intend to involve myself in campus activities. I never had too active of a social life in high school, but I'd like to change that.
I am not Jewish. I am Catholic. However, as Lenny Bruce said "An Episcopalian from New York is more Jewish than a Jew from LA." I live in NYC, we say things like "kosher" "oy vey" and "schlep" all the time.
Still not related to Billy Joel.
I am related to this chap, however, Sir James the Good.
Do you mean inviting her for coffee, or asking her to pay? 'Cause there's a difference. This guy wasn't panhandling and didn't actually ask me for anything tangible. But since he told me he lived in the part of town where the shelters and other social agencies are, I had to assume he was either homeless or recently so. He wasn't drunk, and spoke respectfully up until the end of the conversation when he started wanting to know my name, where I live, and could he visit. That's something that I simply will not do - allow strangers to invite themselves in.
I wouldn't actually recommend it as a way to meet women. This guy was nice enough, we had an interesting conversation, but toward the end he gave me the creeps, asking if he could come and visit me, he didn't even know my name or where I lived... That sets off alarm bells in any sensible woman's mind, and I told him no, he couldn't come and visit - I said (truthfully) that I still don't have my place organized from moving and wasn't accepting any visitors. He moped a bit about how would he see me again... this is really creepy, based on a 15-minute conversation.
Linkin park has appeared on my Pandora so I do know what it is. I like some of their stuff and can't stand others, it all depends on the song. I really hate any cursing in music, in movies I can live with it but in music it stays in your head and it annoys me.

I don't want any Linkin Park in church though, even the songs that I do like. (I don't remember which ones so don't ask) because its still not Christian music. Much like the Battle Hymn of the Republic, actually...
Well, I survived my birthday, saw my dad yesterday (Father's Day), and got flirted at by a dumpster diver this morning when I took out the garbage. It looks to be good weather today, and I've already accomplished a bit of housework - and it's not even 10 a.m.

The week is off to a good start. :)

    And you?
I think one will happen in the coming decades. Iran was one of the earliest Muslim states to recognize Israel, and they have (according to what I've heard) a more moderate younger generation.
Yes, I know that. I don't have anything against Iranians. What gave you the impression I believed the contrary?
