Hey LH. I started a RPish game recently over at the civ5 forums. I'm still making some changes, but if you want to you want to, you're welcome to join.

I will most likely join then. I have thought of an RP and IOT hybrid before, but never any serious thought. Also, I will miss the AC element, although I do agree it distracted from the main game. I would have really loved to see an off shoot AC from RP3 though, simple spells system, perhaps a simple inventory system to keep track of weapons and such, but very plot based. Even better would be you would not be limited by the game map if you made it an AC only and everything. Yet alas, that idea never interested you.

Ive played Sins of a Solar Empire...but its demanding on the CPU and RAM so its really hard to play it on my computer, and its a bit of a free for all with no directing purpose once you start a game.

However, I recently bought the complete collection of the sword of the stars on steam for 5 dollars since I have some spare cash from my birthday and I typically take sunday to relax and play some games. I know you play this franchise. Any tips on how to play, what faction to play, ships to build, things to try?

Just really busy with RL at the moment. New GF, football team just won conference so we are going to the playoffs in a few weeks, and im the only sophomore with an AP class. My workload is enormous, and when I dont fall asleep as soon as I get home I am often busy either researching, studying, doing HW, or writing one of the many essays that I now have due soon until the early hours of the morning. Ive barely been on CFC to skim whats going on, let alone post or play an AC for hours at a time. Sorry. Maybe I will be more active when the season ends, but dont count on it, because I have mock trial and weightlifting lined up to take the place of football, and my workload will even increase around that time because midterms will be coming up.
