Creating a modmod can be as simple or complicated as you want it to be. It's generally just tweaking the XML files, which I assume you are familiar at.
If you are asking how to make a building or unit, or leader modular, Kael made a good guide.Good stuff! Are you doing any additional modding now that you've opened up the factions? That's the first step to a world of awesomeness.
I didn't rate any of ur Aphrodite leaderheads... and even if I did, who cares if someone gave you 3 stars, it means nothing. What matters is whether people like it or not, which mostly everyone does. So don't worry about whoever gave you three stars, it means nothing.

Nah, nah, don't feel bad about it. That doesn't mean you can't make civs! Just not Civ of the Weeks.
They're not that hard to make, in all honesty - it's just arranging all the art together that's annoying.
