  • I got what you meant. As a taste...

"He closed his eyes as a scent of southern perfume found his nostrils. I’ve raped for less, he thought. "
The whole time I was thinking, "Thlayli... where are you?" ;)

I'm excited to see what you come up with.
That could create interesting regional tensions. I like it. What I'd like to actively avoid, however, is a rehashing of the War of the Pale Brothers altogether. The post-war realm and the rise of the warrior class is emphasizing regional independence and identity, and the new Pale line, while wanting to retain power, has little choice but to allow such independent activities to continue. Sympathies for the False Stone should be rooted in religious differences, as well as political ones (like what you did with the Dyres). Some of those lesser lords should be insanely superstitious and "crazy", and their identity should be based on, or at least evolving into, something more than just loyalty to the False Stone (that would still be an issue, of course, but not the only issue, if that makes any sense -- other issues being what that man represented, and what the Solemn Age warned of).
I'm totally all right with you coming up with some of the areas around your house -- as long as you aren't blatantly making them your allies or anything. :p Maybe we can throw around some ideas together on #NES later this evening.
it's not so much that, as:

    [15:12] <@kraznaya> crezth
    [15:12] <@kraznaya> without thlayli
[15:12] <@kraznaya> this nes would have launched already y/y
    [15:12] <+Crezth> uh, yeah, probably

anyway, crezth has a "new" deadline up in the thread, but the rolling demotions will continue until its up :3
