Distance penalty applies to any province more than 10 pixels away from your "cores" - a core is either your home region, or any area that consists of ten contiguous territories less than ten pixels away from eachother. For instance, TUNIC has Italy as its core, but also has its African areas all as one core because they're continuously within 10 pixels of eachother.

Flat costs for provinces without DP - 300 pixels or less = 1; 600 pixels or less = 2, 900 pixels or less = 3, anything else = 4, but DP makes it double.

Each attack costs half a point, regardless if the conquest is successful or not. However, this is a flat fee, and so can be more profitable than if you claimed peacefully.

I want the yellow lands that Venice owns, the pink one is a I'd prefer to get it, but I can live without it if you REALLY need it, the red are I won't dispute you no matter what. The NA one goes to pink if Egypt won't back off from my lands.
