About:
An enhanced adaption of Kobayashi's Star Trek BAQ scenario by J.L. Nijholt.
Mod files rescued from CivFanatics backups and repacked in 7zip by Blake. Successfully tested in Civ2 MGE. Some of Nijholt's custom terrain1 replacements had a different black shade to terrain2 and some had no space background resulting in nasty transparency bleed errors across the whole map so Blake fixed them. Also the Title.gif was just Kobayashi's original so Blake changed it a bit to differentiate.

Original Description/Intro:
^^ STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT

^^ It is the dawn of the 23th Century and different races are just beginning to explore
and colonize the vastness of the Final Frontier - space.
^^ The FEDERATION, which believes in peaceful expansion where possible vie for supremacy
^^ with the Romulans, Klingons and Cardassians. The KLINGONS are a warrior race bent on
^^ subjugating with brute force while the ROMULANS are a secretive race who will resort
^^ to any means of expanding their empire. The CARDASSIANS favor a military regime (?).

^^ Each major race starts off with its own tech tree but will eventually have access to
^^ the other races' (without ever being able to use the same technology).
^^
^^ THIS IS NOT AN OBJECTIVE SCENARIO; just play to win!
^^
^^ Only the Federation, Klingons, Romulans and Cardassians are meant for play.
The BORG are not meant for play; DO NOT attempt to acquire BORG technology -
you cannot use it and there may be dire consequences.
