Overview
Cultural Diversity (CulDiv) is a mod aimed at bringing greater depth to a . It does this by assigning "Culture Types" to each Civilization, with each Culture Type coming with unique soundtracks, defeat and era splash screens, and other features. Detailed information can be found on the mod's wiki page. Each component can be disabled or enabled depending on your personal preferences.
In addition, CulDiv includes some miscellanious changes. These changes can also be disabled/enabled at will. For the fullest overview, see the included JFD_CulDiv_UserSettings.sql file.
Installation (Core)
Download the JFD's Cultural Diversity (Core) civ5mod.
Place this into My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization V\Mods.
Enable in the Mods Menu, where it should have unpacked automatically.
Press Next and start a new game.
Installation (Soundtrack)
Download the JFD's Cultural Diversity (Soundtrack).part1.rar.
Download the JFD's Cultural Diversity (Soundtrack).part2.rar.
Download the JFD's Cultural Diversity (Soundtrack).part3.rar.
Unzip part 1 into My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization V\Mods.
Enable in the Mods Menu, where it should have unpacked automatically.
Press Next and start a new game.
Troubleshooting
1. Re-download the mod and test to see if the issue persists.
2. Disable any mods which might conflict - Social Policy overhauls, mods which overwrite core files, severely outdated mods, etc.
3. Delete your cache folder (My Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization V/) and restart the game.
If you still encounter issues, it is important that you communicate this clearly so that I or someone else can help you. You will need the following things:
Mod Version.
Mod List (other mods you have active, or at least major mods in use such as the Community Balance Overhaul/Patch).
User Setting Changes (if applicable).
Database and/or Lua log files. See here.
You must start a game with the mod active for your logs to be populated.
