Maori.
Why?
Because I usually play with the music on.
What exactly is the Maori music? Screaming, shouting, and what sounds like "poop on you! Poop on you!"
Compare with civ 5 talking to Al Mansur. "Hello chitty funk."
I know it's another language and all, but come on it's just grunting...
When on a potential plantation tile (Cocoa etc), the tooltip for Maori builder action indicates +1 Production, but the real effect is -1 Production!! Very misleading!!!
So in other words, take a civ and give it both a thematic malus and bonus to make the civ more asymmetrical in design similar to Mali, Kongo, and Maori.
I'm quite a fan of Asymmetrical civ designs since they make the civ more unique and change gameplay more so than with other civs, so I thought...
A bit of backstory behind the mod...
Playing as Kupe, i reached a point where i had enough GPP to recruit a Great Writer, but due to the Mana trait of Maori you are not allowed to get Great Writers, meaning i were soft locked as i could not end the turn.
So to fix this, i wanted to make a small...

In summary, Kupe is one of the more unique leaders in the game...

The Maori really look amazing, very unique and fun to play as. I wonder if the next civ will be able to surpass them :)
Which civ do you think will be announced next?
I guess I'm picking the Inca again, it's gotta be their turn sometime right?:D
Since we are getting them as a civ, and since nearly every time I hear it being pronounced, it is being pronounced incorrectly, I thought I would take a moment to teach all the loyal fans on how to properly pronounce this word...
In short...(don't trust the other pronunciation clips)
Hello everyone, and welcome back to the new poll devoted this time in the native insular civilizations, mainly in the Caribbean and the Pacific. I'm terribly sorry for the delay, but I had some issues I had to take care with priority.
Only one poll left after this one, and I hope everyone could...
Hello again everyone, and welcome to the one poll before the last, focused on the Pacific Isles and the smaller islands of the Indian Ocean (excluding some that have appeared in former polls, like South-East Asian Isles or Madagascar.
You know the rules, I don't need to explain them anymore ...
