Initial 1.0.1.501 report:

This is not a new problem introduced with the NFP, but maybe there is a chance to get it fixed during it :)

The movement prediction for my Military Engineer looks like this:
MovementPrediction.jpg

But if you actually order the ME to make the move shown above, the movement of the unit will be aborted two tiles earlier:

To reproduce with the attached save:

1. Select the Military Engineer shown in the 1st pic
2. Let the game show you the movement prediction as seen in the 1st pic
3. Now order that move and see that the unit isn't able to reach the scheduled destination in that turn contrary to what was precicted, because of running out of movement points

Yup, very annoying issue. Happens very often. The only pattern I see that it may have something to do with embarking and disembarking because usually this wrong path goes through land / water border.

Indeed, (dis)embarking (and eventually also the fact if a harbour is involved) seems to be the triggering factor here.

However, it can also go the opposite way like here for an Apostle - the game tells me that I need two turns to get to a certain spot (2) and I can get only to (1) in this turn:

But when I then only move to the position the game indicates as possible to reach this turn and marked with (1), I end up being able to continue where I wanted to move initially (2):

To reproduce with the attached save:

1. Pick the Apostle standing in Gao and let the game predict movement as shown in the first pic
2. Then move only as far as the game predicts it is possible to move the Apostle in this turn.
3. You will see then that you still have enough movement left to reach the initially planned destination.

Yeah, I have this problem all the time. It seems the problem is that the AI assumes if your unit starts a turn on water and disembarks onto land, it'll still have the full range of movement it did in the water.
