[NFP] [1.0.8.4] Can't open screen with Great Works after digging out some relics

When an archeologist digs out some relics (for example mosaic) screen with Great Works stops opening. Reloads and reboots dont help. Me and my friend faced this bug several times.
The strange thing is that when I have bugged relic I can give it to my friend and he can open screen with great works (even having this bugged relic), but when he gives it back to me I can't. It works back and forth - with his buggy relics

Are you on heroes and legends mode? I'm having the same issue. It seems to be related to digging up a heroic artifact when you have no room in monuments for one.

My sequence of events:

- Had full monuments. Dug up torch of Maui. Since I had no room, it went into the Archaeologist's home museum. I could still open the great works screen at this point.

- Once the Archaeologist dug up two more (regular) artifacts, his museum was now full, and I can no longer open the great works screen.

- Out of curiousity I sold the torch of Maui to an AI (I can still scroll through my works on the trading screen). After this, I could open the great works screen again.

I'm using a lot of mods, but I doubt any of them are related to this issue.I think I'll just deal with selling the unique relic for loads of money to an AI, and re-build the archaeologist to fill the third (or first) slot again, so I can work on theming them (and my arts).

Yes can confirm this bug, just happened to me during a game of congo with heroes. I didnt have any more slots in my monuments, and the relic went to my archeological museum, after this was filled by my archeologist, it broke the menu.
Trading the relic to another player fixes the problem.

Yes, we played with heroes and there were some heroic relics in my collection, but the screen stops showing when I dig out an ordinary relic (a shield, a ring or mosaic - not heroic). I don't use modes at all.
It seems that you're right iammaxhailme, a heroic relic takes someone else's place in the museum and an error occurs. I'll check it next time.

Same problem here. I extracted a heroic relic, then a normal artifact, then the tab no longer shows when I press the button. Extremely annoying.

And the bug still exists. Trying to get a culture victory becomes very annoying because theming great works is no longer possible after the bug is "in place".

Why does this not get a hotfix? Without any theming, the cultural victory takes much longer (if it's possible at all).

It is still happening in 2022 although I am not able (capable) of describing just what caused it for me. I just bought the upgrade that allowed this stuff and am enjoying some of the new things but not being able to see the great works is a nuisance.
