1.19 beta

Just found a cosmetic issue with the Thai, presumably caused by the changes to color definitions. The color of their borders, graph lines, and the like is the same bright orange as in 1.18 (matching the color of their flag), but the color of the Nationality %, the scoreboard listing, and leader name on the graphs is a dark forest green.

Problem located and fixed, thanks.

Also do they all occur near Savannah by any chance?

So sorry I am being a bad beta-tester and not keeping my autosaves. I was interested to see if it was a fractal specific bug and thus rolled up a lot of new games on other map scripts. But yes, if my memory serves me correct the prime timber hill did occur next to an extensive tract of savannah.

Found a few more. I was able to build Gas power plants without having access to gas and well, the picture is self explanatory

With some further testing it seems it can occur on any mapscript, it's just much more common on certain ones. Still trying to track down the cause.

Gas Plants can be built without Gas, just like Coal Plants without Coal. They just don't provide power unless they have access to their associated resource.

The giant ship bug has been around for a long time, it's quite rare and I have no idea what causes it. It definitely can't be recreated. What I think happens is that for some reason the wrong model is loaded for a unit (in this instance the default model, rather than the one the Anasazi should be using) but the scale settings for the intended art is still used, causing the crazy big (or theoretically crazy small) ship. I've never seen it for anything other than ships and I'm inclined to think it's a bug in BTS itself that only becomes apparent in mods with lots of cultural unit art like HR. Keep reporting sightings of it though, in case a pattern emerges.

Funny about the giant ship thing is that my friend told me about it, but in every game since we have never saw it. I scratched it up as he being a nut, but he swears he saw it.

He always plays American Indians, so I bet it has to do with one of those cultures.

I think I've finally solved the Prime Timber problem, on hills at least. Has anyone ever seen Prime Timber appear on unforested flatlands?

Seems I cannot do anything about tribal islands being suggested for scouts to explore, nor anything about making ships seek out tribal islands on auto-explore. I tweaked the tribal island placement code a fair bit; while they can still appear adjacent, it's much less likely.

I've also finished and included dynamic city lists for the Hittites and Persians.

Everything else reported has been fixed, with no new reports for a few days, so I'll get started on releasing the stable version of 1.19. Looking forward to getting started on 1.20!
