I think Dazz is missing for now as all of the games I have with him are held up.

What do you think we should do? Still no word from Dazz. I think we should wait a month at least. After that I don't know what to do. I would be happy to wait three months if he only had told us what was going on, but this is an open ended fear.
I'm also a little scarred because Dazz has always kept us informed before whenever he couldn't play for an extended period of time. I hope nothing really bad happened to him. Like death. . .or a girl not letting him play anymore!

Hey all,
I have some very bad news. This morning I received an e-mail from his wife who had just noticed my e-mails expressing concern for his disappearance.
She has informed me that Dazz G was in a "serious road accident. The kind which is very near fatal."
Right now he is in the hospital for an indefinite amount of time. He is completely bedridden and unable to do pretty much anything, much less be able to sit at a computer. According to her he has no alternative right now but to drop all of his games.
His wife talked with him about me and the forum. She says his memory is still very vague but he remembers playing civilization with us. He insists that he remembers his passwords and has given them to her, and she has given them to me. He has requested that I try to notify the participants in all of his games and that I assist in replacing him with the passwords.
He has also asked that I let everyone know why he has disappeared and to pass on that he wishes us all well and hopes to return to the gaming scene again some day.
So send me his turn and I will figure out which password it is, then I will find a replacement and pass on the information to them.

Ok. The password works. Now we just need a replacement. I have posted for one, lets see who responds.
in my experience of finding replacements I can tell you that very few (or even no one) responds to post in the replacement hall. you'd have better results by sending PM's to active players you know.

Hi everyone, Tim asked me to fill in and since I'm kinda buzy and this game is so big I should refuse, however it also looks really cool and I've never turned down a game of Civ so I'll hold Dazz' place for him until he feels like taking it back.
The thing is that for my first turn in a giant game like this I hope you don't mind if I take a few days to review the situation. I'll send it along this weekend.
