18 civs edit help?

It's difficult for me to help you because I don't have that specific civ & leader (Iroquois & Logan).

But contrary to what I thought, I can open and play your game/map without LoR. It does work if I replace Logan by Lincoln & the Iroquois by America!

Yeah, it wasn't made in LoR originally. That might be part of the problem. I'm going to try that right away.

Do the Iroquois & Logan work for you with other maps?

Do you get any popup error message before chosing a civ?

Yeah, "can't find type enum for LOGAN." When I start the game it gives me a whole bunch more.

Then you know where your problem lies. Check in the CIV4LeaderHeadInfos.xml file the exact name of your leader, if it's really LEADER_LOGAN.

For example, I've seen in Diversica names like LEADER_IROQUOIS_HIAWATHA.

EDIT: It is LEADER_LOGAN in LoR. Downloaded LoR, placed your map in it, changed the starting location to x=23 and y=54 and it works.

So my assumption is that you placed your map in a wrong folder or you are trying to play it with another mod that either does not have Logan or have "named" him differently...

Yeah, I do. I honestly have no idea what went wrong. Logan simply doesn't appear as an available civ and I still get the bug.

EDIT: Whoops, turned out I still had the start position as random after switching to the new location. It finally works!

Wow, I really paid little attention to this post. but what i meant by "How do I mod 18 civs" I meant it that I have as much of an idea on how to mod civ as a dog... so can you tell me the absolute basics?
