I suspect it's a number of players. The best thing todo is turn logging on (ini) and hopefully that may point at the culprit - I will be doing likewise
this is just odd. why is someone blocking the game for the entire day? Turtle: you said you posted the game ip on different forums, could you ask them to check if they are the ones stopping others from joining? or at least not lingering on the server for 10+ hours so that the rest of us can play our turns... tho I guess this is one way to win...
Would it be possible if i asked you to save the game, restart the server and maybe check out who is the one responsible for the game not letting people in again? Im about to start losing pretty critical turns...
Hmm... problem seems to be my router freezing or my ISP forcing my router to disconnect to get a new IP, since my router doesn't automatically reconnect either way I get a new IP.
I've setup a dynamic dns service where my router automatically reposts my new IP address, so from now on use "civturtle.selfip.com" to connect to my server.
using civturtle.selfip.com helped me join once, and then it wouldnt accept my password... after that ive tried for almost two days now with no luck... as much as i hate it, if this issue isnt resolved im gonna have to give up on the game lost another three turns now...
I haven't been able to log in either for 3 days, at least, and before that was missing at least 1 turn a day. So, I definitely wish to pass the baton to someone else. I won't be trying to log on again.
