I have got one more slight House Rule revision:

If the USA has not joined the side of the Allies by the end of 1941 and declared war, Germany declares war of the USA on Week 1 of December 1941.

This is a historical fact as since we are playing on only one portion of the world, this reflects the Japan's bombing of Pearl Harbour on the other part of the world and Hitler's support of her unseen Ally Japan. Note: Italy would also need to declare war as well.

I find this very reasonable indeed! If academia agrees I will add this as #13 in Openning Post.

Regarding fighter Aces ... just wait. Luftwaffe is working day and night on training pilots for better planes. Right now we just probe defences...

Apparently Petar II did not read the history of World War II. Before this silly declaration Germany had no intentions to invade Balkans in 1939. But boy, he hits the nail right in the head when he talks about futile attempts to unite diverse people of Yugoslavia.

mmm... then how does the presence of USA work in this game? if USA is AI-controlled, will it really have an impact in the game?
according to the latest house rule, german will eventually declare war on USA. but will the AI ever land american troops in europe?

AI is free to Airlift movement. But I agree, the USA is unlikely to attack anytime soon and make much of an impression. Which is realistic in a way. It took until about mid 1943 to 1944 for the Americans to make any significant difference to the War in Europe.

The Real significance has always been the Soviets versus Germany in Europe. As an idea of real WWII numbers

Russia: 700+ divisions
Germany: 300+ divisions with 250+ facing the Soviets
UK/France/USA: 100+ Divisions facing about 50 German ones.

The only human Western Allies civ is UK. UKs main objective is to convince isolationist USA to join the war and then, hopefully, make Permanent Alliance with them, after many-many turns. I think kiwitt has spent all his initial gold to bribe Americans, Permanent Allies research techs together -- this will double the speed of current UK research. Sure, AI US will try to make peace with me after few turns -- but according to house rules once war has started I cannot make peace until the fall of enemy's capital. Hopefully this will make kiwitt's goal a little more realistic.

I don't think fast killing is possible. One of the main features of this scenario is that many promotions are being unlocked by research, which does not allow German units to accumulate critical promotions early and use them without focusing on research...

Meanwhile Germans bombed Belgrade and damaged Petar II's palace, as seen on this photograph:

Loosing a critical Panzer unit with 82% winning odds victorious Germans eliminated Yugoslav's capital (making Balkan Allies eligible to peace treaty). After we capture Split next turn -- Balkan Allies will essentially become 2 city based Greece.

Brand new German Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was lost to British Ace pilot The death of the previous Ace James Johnson was avenged! Air combat is too deadly in this scenario. In War in Pacific scenario, for example, planes often win battles by inflictiing 60-80% damage. Here its mostly kill or be killed...
