2 issues help me PLEASE!

Ok so I am having 2 issues the first and most important is that I get a blue screen sometime when I play it restart the computer. I have tried one of the suggestions, but it also mentions driver updates and I haven't been able to find them. I have a lenovo r61i thinkpad I went to their website and wasnt able to find anything- any suggestions?

Thinkpads have their own update software, called ThinkVantage System Update (i'm not sure if they're discontinuing this, it still works on mine) which should keep you system up to date unless you've formatted and haven't installed any drivers etc.

The only thing I can think of without more info is possibly a problem with the graphics card if the issue only occurs during 3D gameplay, if you get the blue screen of dead, you can usually determine from there which piece of hardware/driver conflict is causing the crash.
