I been having these two bugs more recently here in beyond the sword. These two bugs travel from civ 4, to Warlords, to now here... and it never been cured at all and been driving me nuts.

These two bugs I've seen more often and never been patched at all is the bright terrain bug, and the city name & menu disappearance. I've been playing Broken Star, and I have to restart once cause the City name & Menu disappeared on me, I restarted and came back, and it happen the third time. That bug been roaming around lately throughout Civ 4, it occurred less in Warlords. Now the Bright terrain bug been going on and still have not change it's appear chart. Lately I just stated a new game without any mods just to try out the new civilizations, and after 3 turns this bug just pop out and brighten the whole world up... I can't use the world editor cause of this bug.

Please for the love of whatever god you worship, and for my insanity to not appear never again.... PLEASE FIX THIS BUG, IT'S LIKE THE BLACK DEATH!

Another reoccuring bug is when you are starting a game and you're given all those screens chosing island size, continent size blah blah blah. A lot of times it will skip options and you have to go backwards to view them.

Are you referring to the little context menu in the bottom left? If so, I have the same problem (vanilla, Warlords, BtS). That menu quits popping up for me at least 50 times in a game. It usually occurs after I've assigned a worker to do something (build a road, mine, etc) to end my turn. Before I end my turn, I decide to hover my mouse over a city to see what units I have there...and no context menu. I find that by clicking on any city name (to see the production queue at the bottom) and hitting escape, it will make the context menu re-appear on whatever I hover over. It also happens to the little context menus that appear when hovering over techs (to see how many turns it will take to research) and over diplomacy screens (to see the AI's disposition toward you).
