Surprise, surprise, I have encountered more problems.
This time, I was trying to play a multiplayer game with my brother (just the two of us, along with some AI's).
So we fired up our games....
After an hour, we figured out how to actually JOIN games.
But then, when I join, I get a warning that we are running different versions. My brother's username has *MOD* before his name and according to my brother, on HIS computer, I am the one who has *MOD* before my name.
When we start the game, we instantly get an Out of Sync error, flashing in bright red text on the center of the game screen. And, of course, we can't play.
So I don't know why we are running different versions.
Both of us have BTS patched to 3.17 (which is an awful patch in my opinion but that's not the point here) and the unofficial 0.21 patch added on. We also have BUG installed on both versions.
So why is there OOS? Just so you know, my brother uses Vista and I don't. Could that be it?
