2006/2007 College Basketball Thread

we're a low major, what did you expect? In the basketball world, WE'RE one of those community colleges. Richmond is a real team too. Last year, we were losing to those community college schools too. Look. Don't pee in my cornflakes yet Alcosta :)>

Florida vs Kentucky was a terrific game :scan:  .

Edit: thanks tcj- yeah I meant Kansas (duh)

Kansas, but yeah. UF has weaknesses, but Kansas played out of their minds and still only won by two in overtime in a home environment.

ACC/Little 10 Challange over already. 8 games in ACC up 6-2  Thats 8 straight years. FYI only undefeated team in challange play-- DUKE :D

My Deacons (5-0) went into Air Force (6-1) and now they are 5-1plus/plus:eek: - got outplayed, outshot, outcoached and outhustled. I turned off the tube when they got down by THIRTY  .

I saw that score last night and I thought I read it wrong at first. Absolutely shocking!

Ohio State-UNC was a great game last night, we may have lost. However, when Oden gets back...

Final ACC/Little 10---8-3

Air Force beat WF--is that the same Air Force DUKE spanked last week

Well they used ALL their weapons against Wake, even some Stealth technology it seems :mischief: . Hey come on, it was only 30 or so
points  .

Well, ESPN seems to have a little love-affair with Greg Oden. Get over it ESPN, he's not there, focus on the freaking game. He's scary good, but they played like the #1 team in the country for quite a long time, but we came back through strong play by Lawson, Ellington, and Hansbrough. A very good game by North Carolina, and hopefully we'll do it the rest of the year.

One thing, I'm tired of North Carolina forgetting how to play perimeter defense, they've done it every year for 20 years, and it kills them, Ohio State would've been blown out of the building if we could guard the perimeter.

Actually, he was there, on the bench...the camera went to him about 300 times in case you didn't notice. But he is a Norse god after all, so you, as the rest of us do, should feel privileged that he would spend time among us mere mortals.

Yes, I noticed, Dick Vitale made it quite clear to me.

Oden took the floor today and looked great (even with a cast on his hand). UNC seriously lucked out having him miss the game.

I was disappointed in Oden, after all the hype for a WHOLE YEAR, I expected 40 points, 27 rebounds and 14.5 blocks at least--with only 1 hand, an eye patch and only 1 shoe on.

What? You cant be in DC and root for North Carolina. Go root for Mason/Maryland/Virgina like everybody else. Just not Georgetown. G-town = teh evil

I hate Maryland, I like Virginia, and Mason is a bandwagon team. I like North Carolina, my dad went there, and I've always liked them.
