North Carolina at 2? They'll be 1 before the end of the season, and at the end. :smug:

Will this be like 1994? Carolina had everybody back from the national champions and added Rashed wallace and Jerry Stackhouse--lost first round, more talent, NOT a better team !

And on a good note--Kyle Singler, #4 rated player next year announces today he is attending DUKE :D

A GENERALIZE shortguy--chill ;) all those UVA football loses getting you down

Not as much as last year, actually. Nothing worse than beating the undefeated #4 team in the nation and then laying an egg against UNC of all people. I've accepted that we aren't going to be any good this year.

I think you mean like 2005. :p Talented young team that added the final pieces to an already good team.

And in other news, Kyle Singler can go suck a ****. ;)

Arizona Wildcat here. I like my kids this year. They'll be tough as usual with upperclassmen Marcus Williams, Mustafa Shakur, Jawann McClellan, Ivan Radenovic and freshmen Chase Budinger and Nic Wise. Budinger's blowing people away in Tucson and Lute is saying he's the best player to ever be recruited at AZ. The new Adam Morrison with hops?

Check this out...ESPN's top Bobby Knight out takes for those of you who have not seen it. Oh and btw he just kicked their top scorer off the team.

Go Bobby Knight, one more win for Texas :mischief:

Not a Illini fan Whomp? What's your attachment to Arizona? Go to college there?

Yep I'm a Wildcat. Played a year of baseball there....then I found girls and lots of them!
The Illini put a stake in my heart two years ago and I was there....I hate them so much more now. :D

Would that be when the University of North Carolina devestated them to win the National Championchip? :p

That would be when we would've given the Tar Heels a much better game, yes. The same game that showed how we exposed their front line and UNC took care of business, yes.

Hate them...though I'll admit it was the single greatest sporting event I've ever been to. Wow.

How can you say Florida wasn't the best team last year? They totally dominated the Tournament.

Obviously Florida has to be a clear favorite this year. Everybody is back off a dominating national championship team. Its possible they could get upset in the Tournament but by who? All the top contenders would be relying on freshman for the most part.

Plus Florida has by far the best front-line in NCAA.

Florida is the odds on favorite. Scary good. However, we know that's likely their demise. BTW Arizona has all upper classmen in the starting 5.

You guys will be opening up the new arena for us on the 12th.

Hopefully, it'll be a good game.

Hopefully, I'll be able to get in. (We haven't been close to selling out recently, but it is the first game of the season, the first in the new arena, and people are optimistic about the season).

That Arizona-Illinois game a few years ago was incredible...

Florida should win, but I can't remember the last repeat team in NCAA basketball. It's really really hard to do twice in a row, Noah or not.

Duke 91-92

And Pittsburgh dominated the NFL playoffs after an average season--where are they now? Not saying Florida will sux, just saying its a lot harder to dominate for 6 months rather than 6 weeks.

I've never really been into basketball much, but seeing as it's my first year at UCLA, it would be wise of me to give it another chance. At this point I make an obligatory remark about how the Bruins are the best, yadayada. But it's true.

Bring it. I don't like this double dipping you're attempting Fetus. Make the call!
UCLA or Cal? You shouldn't be allowed both and cherry pick one's football team and the others basketball team. Bruin or Bear?
