2011 review/2012 preview

In 2011 my daughter was born, so everything else that happened pretty much takes a back seat to that.

In 2012 I look forward to more wonderful days with my family. And hopefully some more vacations from work.

2011:
Trying to cope with the first year of college, finding work ethic
became less reprehensible, continuing process
million different phases of music (bass, then disco, now punk and jazz)
figured out major(s) and goals for career
continued snobbery
economy in the hole but Chicago is still beautiful

2012:
fraternity rush?
study abroad in Paris?
high hopes

I look forward to reading this years from now

2011 was mostly a good year, but has left me in an extremely precarious position mentally.

2012 is scheduled to have a finish to my degree, and hopefully some source of income and my license.

I did just remember something about 2012 that I'm looking forward to: My braces are scheduled to be taken off! Unfortunately, after the braces are gone, I have to where dentures.

2011:
8th grade: One of the crappiest school years of my life. Although, the field trips were fun
Start of high school. Still quite bored of my life in a boring suburb of a city I hold in distaste
Some of the worst music I have heard in years comes out
I hate my government (particularly the republicans)
Skyrim takes over my free time

2012:
End of freshman year, start of sophomore...good I guess?
I start driving
Just 3 years to go to college *waits impatiently*
Hope my life gets more exciting
Until then, waste my free time playing Skyrim and Paradox games
