Nobody posted this yet so I will. Things you should definitely argue about with conviction:

Even year for the Giants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Royals success/fluke/not a fluke/etc.
The Dodgers being very good/actually sucky/really dumb/etc.
The Red Sox media bias, favoritism, etc., etc.
The D-Backs and whatever they're doing
Make Baseball Fun Again

I am glad to say that game 1 featured my Tigers already in mid-season form with the bullpen. Although banking on a bunch of older guys coming off of one hit wonder years or sudden improvement was always risky. We didn't have the resources to do much else, alas.

Trevor Story is the first player in major league history to hit 4 home runs in his first three major league games.

Robinson Cano also has 4 homers in 3 games. In both of the last two years, he didn't hit his fourth home run until June.

They also both have zero non-homer hits so far.

And now Story's at 6, in his first 4 games. He even finally had a non-homer hit!

It's like he's playing MLB The Show 2016 on Rookie Difficulty, or something.

Somebody needs to put a stop to this Arrieta thing. Saw him Saturday at Wrigley, he was off his game and it was still insane. Get into a jam with a man on third and one out? No problem. A grounder to first and a K later...

16-0 no-hitter... apparently the largest margin of victory in a no-no since 1884.

When I first came to this country I fell in love with baseball. It was right before the Blue Jays won the thing twice in a row. It was just such a weird and different sport, you get to hit a ball with a bat, how cool is that? I played it all the time at school and slowly learned the rules. The then BJs won the thing twice in a row and it was awesome.

Then I loaded up Hardball 3 on my 386DX PC computer and.. what, they play a game every friggin day? What the.. My love with baseball fell apart. I couldn't watch it any more. It was boring. If there was a game a week that would have probably not happened, but it was baseball overload. Such a slow moving sport, and just tooo much of it. I put it on my hate list.

Last year, I decided to watch a bit of teh Blue Jays here and there. My roommate is a fan and usually has the "ball game" on, so I'd join him for an inning here and there. I'm open minded, so why not! Anyhow, I slowly learned all the players names and I slowly got pulled back into the sport. The BJs were doing well last season and had some very memorable moments.

Now I know most of their starting players, if not all of them. I know about their dugout and who's in it. I know enough to be able to follow the team and have my emotions pulled on during and after games.

So anyway, yeah, go Blue Jays! I usually do not watch a full game, generally just the first couple innings and/or the last 2 or 3 innings. Like I said, if there was 1 game a week I would probably watch them in full. But there's a game every friggin day, that's far too much baseball, I do not want baseball overload to happen again. If a game lasted a half an hour, fine, I would watch full games, but naahh.. I'll wait until the BJs make it to the postseason. Only then will I probably watch full games again.

Either way, I'm now converted again, find baseball enjoyable again.

Somehow my Phillies are .500 as well. It's been a really fun early season.

Anyone know a good way to defeat BABIP curses? There seems to be one on Kyle Seager right now and that makes me sad.

I don't know how the hell the Braves are 4-16. They don't look nearly that good. Our pitching is up and down but at least our offense is consistent(ly garbage).

We have 3 home runs this season. Like, what.

All praise his holiness, Bartolo Colon, thrower of fastballs, loser of helmets, and now, hitter of a home run.

What is this strange feeling? Is this... is this what winning feels like?

Bautista gets sucker punched and suspended as well?
And that Odor guy got only 8 games?
What a bunch of baloney!
If I was Bautista I'd sue MLB and Odor for millions, baseball's not boxing! that was assault!
And then the stupid American sports fans again with the "USA" chant!
What a bunch of ignorant and disrespectful folk those people(fans) are! shame on them!
Most of the players on the Toronto team are Americans!-you so called Rangers fans-(dummies).

I just think it's hilarious that the fans chant "USA!" when a Venezuelan punches a Dominican.
