Captured Hastings. The English still exist but their royal family is trapped in the hills. The swordsman who was escorting them is no longer there. What happened to him I wonder? Maybe he ran off back to his village.

Capturing the last city does not kill the English, One must put an end to the royal line it seems.

The English royal family have a good turn of speed about them. We managed to catch the queen who tripped over her petticoats and have dragged her off to London. The other two avoid our patrols for now.

The English still avoid our hunting parties, though itbis still a matter of time. We are considering which of our sons should be wed to then English queen. Thus should the Danes become valid rulers of England.

I am sorry to report that I have just been hit with a bit of travel. Tueday-Friday this week, monday-thursday next week. I regret the delay.

The fleeing English royal party made the mistake of keeping next to the coast to gain more speed. A small fleet of longships caught them and beheaded the swine for the slaughter of our citizens in Orkney. The English lands now belong to the Danes, the captured English queen has been married to one of our princes who is now the rightful ruler of England.
We are still examining this holy grail but cannot figure out what's so special about it. The ale tastes no better from this cup. Perhaps we will take it to Jerusalem to see how much we can sell it for

Well the English deal breakers are destroyed. Sorry Daufoi but you were in the way of our empire So Semental should send the save to me now. Whenever he gets the chance to play given the RL travel. Work always gets in the way of fun.

Consolidating our gains. The danes can't build harbours for ages which could be a nuisance. I'm not sure about aquaducts, they are not on my tech tree so I have not researched them. I wonder if I can build them? I supose I'll just have to build settlers to limit my cities growth then.
