Nice win, Congrats! Definitely play with barbs and vassals on next time. That will change the game a lot. Barbs especially. They WILL make the game harder, and it is a more realistic experience of what Monarch is like.

Well I am playing w/ them on on this game http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=346783 I hope to play a little more usage on specialists and less medieval war.

Point taken on the rushbuy but I usually play some form of SE or HE and rarely cottage my lands, so am usually in Slavery/Nationalism/HR or police state (if available) when on the warpath. Usually draft the stack, build/whip the siege and boats.

But yeah if you cottage your lands US is a superb way to get units.
