Kasbah can be built on any tile (not just desert)

Civilian units all seem to get desert movement (faster movement on desert) promotion, but the UA doesn't mention this at all.
 
What other mods are you running?
Communitas has made no changes to Morocco.

The latest build I have just now run shows the Kasbah as only being built on deserts.

Your lua.log would be helpful.
 
hmmm, that's odd. I run CSD, Hex conquer and release, recolored religious icons, info addict lite, lake victoria fix. Nothing that should be changing morroco's UB.

my lua.log just says "[40043.475] Initializing Lua 5.1.4"

I had deleted my cache and moduserdb folders before installing the new versions of cat and ceg.
 
You need to enable logging and play a couple turns for the lua.log to get any useful results. Please attach your log folder after you have done so.

My apologies. There were some minor changes made to a number of civs collectively. I therefore didn't see those that aren't flagged as specifically Moroccan.

So yes, units with the "TRAIT_GATEWAY_AFRICA" now can traverse deserts without penalty.

Also the Kasbah is now moved a to TECH_CONSTRUCTION. Although I don't see how that changes the terrain it can be built on. It is still shown in the tables as only available on DESERT.
 
Info Addict Lite works for me (global relations). It provides the most important feature of Info Addict (the ability to check diplomatic relationships before accepting declarations of friendship/trades/whatever on the computer's turn).
 
Was this on a resource? We can either build unique improvements on all resources, or no resources... there's unfortunately no easy middle ground with the tools we have available. I chose "on all resources" but people seem to not like that, so I'll go back to "no resources."
 
I think I checked it on standard grassland (no resource) and it was still available. I'll have to test it with 3.5 though.
