3 Reasons why the Events in Homefront aren't Plausible

Not really no. THQ already said they were considering a sequel, just with a good development studio instead (seeing how they fired the devs).

Me neither. I thought the setup for a sequel was about as rubber stamped as you can get. The fact that it wasn't a major flop kind of made it inevitable.

Oh why yes, because during the... twelve year period or so that they had, developing into an East Asian superpower, they would never have, you know, gotten more material to build more nukes. Cause that is way too outlandish, don't you agree?

This would require them putting money into also modernizing their rockets and actually building the weapons on top of the army, naval, and aerial aspects to their modernization. With this sudden deluge of productivity, I would be surprised if the trains didn't run on time in North Korea.

Major flop?

Homefront is a success in my books. It's a great game for what it is (sub standard shooter). To me it's like a Battlefield 3 with crappy graphics.

I heard that Crytek will be developing Homefront 2.

THe only good shooter is a fast shooter. Which means currently Quake Live and Team Fortress 2 playing as scout are the only good shooters. BUT NEVER FEAR, I am sure that the creators of Home Front 2 wish to make a fast paced throwback to the skill-based shooters of old.:mischief:

You forgot Tribes: Ascend.
