lurker's comment: I've never tried to play anything but Conquests, but unless I'm mistaken, you should be able to play Vanilla with Complete, tass. Unfortunately, that doesn't solve chox's problem.

Small pangaea has been done on OCC, btw, so 3CC is most definitely possible.
