3D models MOD

I understand the main moding tools have yet to be released... yet how does the 3D models idea and stream work for example CIV V ? If I were to buy some 3D models from turbo squid for example can somebody make mod units with that !?

Also can CIV 5 models be used ? What kind of models would I need to look for on turbo squid. I would invest in 3D models for serious modders.

I don't know why you want to use Civ5 models, even if it is technically possible, it is graphically undesirable.

I'm not saying I would ... that is why I could purchase models for a modders. I spend the money they do the code and such
