This is not a democracy... TF will make a decision I expect, based on the general input in this thread. Since no such banned list had appeared so far, it doesn't seem likely to happen.

PH: I, by no means, meant to imply that you mods have lots of time to deal with these things. On the contrary, I know that there are tons of posts that you wade through and at times the whole process must be frustrating.

I also realize that there's a good possiblity that you all have lives in the 'real' world as well .

My only point is that if there is some sort of epidemic where people are banned and don't know they're banned (I see banned people...), then perhaps that's an issue that the mods should handle rather than a public banning forum.

I'm not suggesting that you need to write the banned person an essay justifying your decision and providing evidence. Perhaps I'm missing something, but in my mind a quick PM that states "you have been banned for "X" time for doing "X"." should not take up too much time. It would then be up to the banned person to deal with it from there - but at least he/she knows about the banning, how long, and why.

I tired doing that before and it was not possible to send banned people PMs. Now, TF may have made that possible...want to test it out? j/k

I'm not reading through the rest of this thread, but I like the idea, as long as names are removed if / when the poster is un-banned
