A lesson America needs to learn from France: how to pick newscasters

Today, thanks to YouTube, I came across possibly the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. She's sexy, no doubt about it, but it's more than that; her beauty is elegant beauty that doesn't tantalize you but rather pierces you, the kind that you don't dream of fooling around with, but rather living your life with.

I'm talking about Melissa Theuriau, a French newswoman. I don't know how major she is in France, and since I don't speak French, I'm not sure exactly how intelligent or otherwise internally worthy of praise she is.

Now, my question is, why can't American media get women like her? I guarantee you our civic engagement and knowledge of world affairs would go right up!

1. she wears a TON of makeup

2. call me crazy but I really get this vibe from her that she'd have B.O. Seriously I've had several experiences with hot foreign girls that have B.O. and I just have this intuition that she would be one of them.

And we'd all be fluent in French!

But seriously, thank you for that. The difference between her and American news reporters is that she has such a soothing, friendly voice. She's pleasant. American news sells on fear. Obviously we'd be better off with Melissa, but the Men in the Towers and Offices have decided in their Infinite Wisdom that people are more likely to watch Wolf Blitzer in the Situation Room and that the public likes Bill O'Reilly yelling at people. 'Twould be an interesting experiment, though, to put Melissa (or her American equivalent, if there's anyone close) on the news and see who watches...

Wow, she's pretty damn hot.

I agree with you on the whole "civic engagement" thing. Having someone like her report the news about a plane crash or whatever would be way better than Brian Williams, for example.

CNN or whoever should offer her a fat paycheck to learn English and come to the states.

Yes, that's true, it's a bit much in some of her appearances. But, mind you, she still looks great without it.

And it's just the hot ones? :hmm:

Irish Caesar hit the nail on the head.

I've seriously known three hot European girls who were plagued by B.O.

Well, if this stereotype is true, it's rather disappointing.

What do our resident Europeans have to say about this?

What's B.O.?

Anyway, I find our female newscasters hotter too. In America, they seem to be too old, but I admit I don't watch many US newschannels.

its taken you will 2007 to find her?!?

You mean they didn't shower seventeen times a day?

You're crazy, she's hot.

SO if she offered it to you on a plate you'd say no in case she had BO?:crazyeye:
