A little advanced for 500 BC

Umm, just started a new game with 6 civs(Test of Time: Extended Original) and i was the Greeks. I was doing pretty good, ahead of all in research, doing a little exploring when I see ultra-string theory in the research box, I checked the cheat box and i hadn't turned it on(not that i ever would) But i thought perhaps it was because i think a centuran civ was on earth. Any help on why it does this?

what's with this ultra-string theory thing? many people have asked about that in forums and newsgroups...

Two things:
1: Ultra-String Theory is in CivIITOT, in the Sci-Fi Scenario. It's an advance.
2: Occasionally, when I play a scenario w/ the cheat mode off, save, and load later, cheat mode is permanently ON, and it doesn't show it in my Civ score!
