I believe I said that I live in Boston. If not, that is where I live. I would like to run for The House. I am part of the AmFist Party.
If so, then I would like to vote for marvinmartian in the Senatoral Election.
You're talking about Marvinmartian, aren't you? I was talking to you, Princeof persia, how are you voting someone running for the Senate in a city that isn't yours?I thought as of when he joined, but maybe not. I believe he said he was part of the new settler party.
Oh, sorry. I didnt know that part.
The session ends when yahzuk says it ends. Since he never actually posted a closing notice, it is open until he posts otherwise. So, you two will be the two candidates for the election when it happens unless someone else joins you guys in Boston. But, Marvinmartian, I don't actually know if I am senator for Boston, as sessions ends on friday and I already declared I was running the election for the Senate.

You were JoanK, now there are 3 citizens of Boston (Yourself, americanking, and marvinmartian)... eh, I'll post what I know about Boston in a spoiler...By the way, are you really living in Boston? I thought I was the only one just until today
Edit: Aaannnd... the election won't be for 2 sessions anyways since you have to go through primaries first (a system I'd like to change, but since we're at war, priorities have shifted). Those will take the next session. Then you'll have the actual elections in Session 7(?).
The bills as written would imply at the end of the queue, although you make a good point that more specificity in the future would certainly not be remiss.
Also, more importantly:
I declare my candidacy for the office of the President, under the banner of the America's Fist Party.
Not out of mutiny to Ceskari, nor out of a thirst for power, but because America deserves a choice. Although our president has been doing a fine job, the vigorous debate which surrounds a national election is vital to the well-being of a pluralistic society such as ours; even if the status quo is upheld by the results, America will be better for having solemnly considered its course. (Ooc: and seriously, what fun is a forum game if the guy in charge runs unopposed?)
I hereby declare to run a clean and decorous campaign, with further details to follow in the coming Congressional session. I hold no contempt for our president, and no will to sully his reputation -- I will trust he holds the same sentiment towards me.
May the best statesman win.
Okay, comrade President, for respect to you and the party, I'll stay (besides, I very soon discarded moving back, on the perspective of a long way back to a sieged city). And I had present that the election don't take place the same session I take moving to the city, but as I could declare candidacy I thought that the election that theoretically should take place the next session wouldn't in fact take place being me the only candidate.I think the Communist Party needs you in Boston, please stay. Furthermore, according to rules, you are out of the election during the turn that you move cities.
Of course, but I can't understand that primaries must be carried out if both candidates appear to belong to a major party and have no opponents in that very same party. As to the Primaries, we need to be synchronized. So some parties may have more than one candidate, and the primaries are a way for that issue to be settled. Some may not, but the Primaries are the way to keep all parties on the same time line.
From Page 10...Of course, but I can't understand that primaries must be carried out if both candidates appear to belong to a major party and have no opponents in that very same party.![]()
As you can tell, you're not the only person who was confused at some point.I would guess that primaries are run by the parties, not the government, so I think that it would be up to the party to decide.
