i already have Civilization III and i'm planning on purchasing Conquests but do i need PTW? does Conquests include everything from PTW or just some of the content? should i buy both expansions? i don't have alot of money right now.

It doesn't include the fan scenarios, or most of the stuff in the extras folder. Most of the stuff from the extras folder is available here, check LouLong's signature for links or the Civ3.com site under Conquests Downloads.

Just buy Conquests, don't buy PTW (except if you have friends with whom you play MP who only have PTW).

Conquests does not include everything from PTW but what is not included is now offered freely on the Web (at Civ3.com or here (check my signature)). They are called "PTW extras".
