-A Million Tongues: Her travels have also given her fluency in a dozen languages, and knowledge of a dozen more. This makes her extremely adept at communicating and translating between different people.
-Healing Magic: Amalia has knowledge of healing medicine and medical magic that she has picked up on her travels, and will do anything to heal and sooth those around her, no matter who they may be.
-Parker: She is also a master lockpick, using her skills not just against enemies, but also against friends, to the great annoyance and/or bemusement of the latter.

Background: Born into an aristocratic family in a far-removed foreign land, Amalia is almost certainly not the girl's real name. Her birth father was a warlord who cared more for the shine on his arms than anything else in the world, and neglected - and often abused - his own family. The girl's only solace was in the beautiful music she played. Until, one day when she was about ten, when her father's fortress came under attack. The girl took the opportunity to flee, and kept running. She eventually decided to devote her entire life to her travels, playing for passage via caravans and ships. The girl has now ended up here.

One with nature: Kaël is in tune with the wilderness. He can walk by any natural environment as easy as by a road no matter how hard the terrain is. Also, the nature respond to his presence covering his track, so he leaves no trail in natural surroundings
Companion Hawk: Kaël travels with a hawk named Aerilion, with which he shares a really strong bond. He has trained Aerilion to hunt, look for possible foes, or pick up things.
Hunter senses: Living in the wild, Kaël had no other option to hunt to survive. Over time, his senses sharpened to the point that he could match the greatest predators.
Archaic thoughts: As he has been frozen in time for two centuries, the way he sees the world is very old fashioned. His understanding of the modern world and language is, therefore, very poor. However, he had wide knowledge of ancient world, since he lived in that time.

Background & Bio: Kaël was born in a noble family of a glorious elven city. He was the eldest son so he inherited the lands and wealth from his father. He lived during longtime in a lavish palace where he always had what he needed and more. He married the daughter of an elven prince, and he begat two sons and a daughter. His little sister Luciel, lived with him, an took care of his children.
One day, the city waged war against a powerful kingdom. As the kingdom forces outnumbered the city's defense, Kaël paid a witch to freeze he and his family in time and space so they wouldn't be affected by anything, and so she did. Unfortunately, the witch died during the war, and couldn't reverse the spell. For unknown reasons, he woke up two hundred years later, only to see his city ruined and absorbed by the surrounding nature. His family wasn't there though. Alone and confused, he learned to survive in that hostile environment and developed a supernatural connection with the natural world.
Nowadays, he travels looking for away to bring his family back to this time.

-Holy Aura: Lothair radiates holy energy around him, blessing (read buffing) himself, his followers, and damaging undead and evil beings
-Theurgy: Lothair can call upon the power of the Light to perform various spells, from healing his allies, to smiting enemies of the light. Lothair is ultimately a servant of the light however, and the will of the light is greater than the will of Lothair.

Quest for Glory
PROLOGUE

A cold wind blew strangely through the forest, the light passing through the dense foliage was little, the floor was almost completely covered with moss and trees, most pines, were tall and thick. A raven stared at the group over a wooden statue that was strangely enveloped with a robe, marble arms and two lanters. And at the first sign of life, it croaked.

A chill traveled in Lothair's back as he tried to get up. The harsh sound of the crow echoing through the dense forest was enough to made him regain consciousness. Slowly Lothair got up, being carefully observed by the raven. What seemed a mere headache became a blank as he tried to remember how he got there.

Lothair noted the raven for a while and it seemed to correspond the glance until it fly away. He was watching the raven when something screamed near the statue. "Ah!," the man screamed again. Lothair walked around the unusual statue and encountered a monstrous scene, the man was sitting in a pool of blood with his back in the statue, without his legs and badly injured.

The man wore a white suit, stained with blood and earth and carried a sacred symbol, a cleric.

"Help, you ne-- help me," blood came from the cleric's mouth.

The Crusader tried to help him, but the cleric's condition was pitiable. He deduced that something ate the legs of the poor cleric, and by his skin color he had been poisoned, probably by an attack of undeads. "But how... he is a cleric," he thought.

Before he can ask any question, the cleric took a little breath and spoke again.

"Please," he handed over a paper stained with blood to him, "undeads attacked... Village of Holl...ew. Please... kill... deads... save the village." The cleric spat a mouthful of blood and fainted.

Lothair then turned to explore the site around the statue. He eventually found another group, formed by a a girl who was cleaning her long dress, a strange middle-aged mage and a strange elve.

After introductions, the new group then explored the forest and eventually found more other lost adventurers. Twelve adventurers were now assembled near the strange statue, looking at each other, perhaps wondering how they got in that strange forest. Lothair now need to decide whether speaks about the cleric and his message or not.

GM NOTES: Only Lothair knows about the quest and he may or may not share with the group - no one can "OOC-guess that" and, if he do not share, no one can follow him. No, you can not kill other players.

You can RP whatever you want - respecting the limits. Be it looking for herbs in the forest to portions, hunt animals in the forest to eat, etc. That sort of thing...

I'm not forcing players to go together forever, you decide through "diplomacy/roleplay" if you want follow a group or not.

Combat Magic: The hatred many feel towards the Lumen trader fleets means that Jaynoah has learned to weild her magics in combat. Jaynoah can use her sword as a focus during combat.
Lumen Trader Fleet: Growing up on one of the nomadic Lumen Trader Fleet, Jaynoah is at ease and agile in the rigging of a ship, an, by extension, climbing and scrambling over most surfaces... and, well, if she falls, the winds will bring her to safety. She also has a bonus towards trade and diplomacy.
Wind Walker: The breezes that constantly surround Jaynoah offer protection against ranged weapons, particles in the air, smoke, and gasses.

Artful Dodger: Highly skilled in both picking pockets and putting things back into pockets without the subject noticing.
Face in the Crowd: He is very discrete, capable of vanishing into a crowd and eluding pursuit of any kind. Even in the wild, it's hard to find him when he doesn't want to be found.

Reformed Coward: in his youth, Dave spent an awful lot of time running away and getting around problems without violence. He still prefers this but he no longer needs clean underwear after every encounter. Usually. He is faster and more clever than your average barbarian.
Uncanny Dodge: well, he WAS a coward.
Faffy and Lula: Faffy is Dave's lightning-breathing pet dragon. He's rather dumb, but not nearly as idiotic as he was ten years ago. Size of a large dog. Lula is a sassy talking bastard sword that can shoot lightning. She used to be the sword of a legendary hero but now she's stuck with this chump.
Latural Neader: Even though he's not an heir, he IS a prince, and often comes up with cunning plans worthy of a Blackadder (with an equal amount of emphasis on not dying). He's also inspiring (probably because of all the lightning) and his war cry buffs allies and scares enemies even more. He knows how fear works pretty well, being old friends with it and all.
Poison Resistance: The barbarian blood gives additional resistance against poison.
Warcry: The barbarian is fierce in battle.
Hard as stone: Barbarians are hard to fall and strong.

Background & Bio: Dave is the barbarian prince of Udrogoth. While his older sister Candy is the heir, he still received a bunch of training and stuff in addition to his natural stronkness. Set out on ADVENTUREEEE eight years ago to overcome his (constant) fears and has managed to get them under control, even use them - he certainly knows what's scary. Still a dork, though.

Name: Fianait

Traits:
Junk Bolts: Fianait is.. very resourceful when it comes to ammunition. She can make her own ammo out of things that people can't even fathom - hair, leather.. even human skin once.
Modder: Whatever crossbow she has on her hands, she usually improves it in one or different way, whether to improve accuracy, or just to experiment.. Sometimes, that also backfires terribly.
Outdoorsman: Never likes being cooped inside one place for too long. While she does enjoy the benefits civilization has: warm beds, food, water, and all that, she prefers to be out there in the wild. As of such, her instincts out there are heightened.
Fluffles the Tiger-Cat: One of the few things she truly loves, and will defend no matter what. When people ask "why Fluffles?", she just gives a glaring look, as a warning that repeating that question will result into a crippling leg wound and a desire to go to the nearest cleric.

Background & Bio:
Fianait is a dwarf, born in the high mountains, where only dwarves, trolls and.. precious minerals reside. Perhaps, her fate would be to a miner, or a blacksmith, or maybe even an esteemed engineer. Or, become part of the Silver Iron Guard, where she would wield a mighty mace right towards some troll's face in a damp tunnel? She'll never know, as when she was 20, some idiot gave her a crossbow, for "keeping". And a bunch of bolts. Would that idiot ever know that the little dwarf's fate would be forever changed from that seemingly inconsequential event? Because it was. It is as if crossbows and Fianait were born to be one, or as if some God decided to see how funny would it be to have a skilled marksman in a race that isn't known for that?

Whatever the reason is, she soon became distanced from others. She now was "that weirdo who constantly carries a crossbow". The fact she nearly shot a number of people fatally didn't help. One day, her luck was gone - a Silver Iron trainer annoyed her with his insistence that "crossbows are for humans and orcs who can't use a sword!", and.. He was dead, bleeding down on the ground. Without much waiting, the guards seized her. That would be the end of her story, but some Dwarven noble apparently saw her on her way to prison, and decided to give her mercy - an exile.

All she was given was a crossbow, leather armour.. and a pick. To remind her from where she comes, and that she'll never come back.
