We will commence a sea invasion of Hibernia. Have ranger and amphibious army in Armonica be set to sail to invade Ireland.

The Celts are prepared to send envoys to Rome and to the peoples of Britain to have reinsurance that our claims are to be recognized for the benefit of the free peoples of the Celtic lands. The gods watch over us. We hope to make good relations with both powers, despite the "barbarian" rhetoric from Rome.

The Senate and People of Rome are pleased that the Barbarians in Galatia understand the concept of peace. We hope that we can have good relations and that we can help you become, however impossible it may seem, civilized people. Let us begin an era of peace and friendship between civilization and barbarism.

Appointment is later than I thought. Orders locked.

Again. Landlocked provinces have an additional +1 Wealth cost to improve. Increasing debt of players who failed to adjust.

Battle for Africa

The Celtic Invasion of Africa was an unmitigated disaster, and the Celts barely resisted losing an army during the retreat.

Battle for O. Britannicus

Ji'e'Toh Fleets attacked the Celtic fleets in the O. Britannicus, winning a convincing victory over the Celtic fleets in the sea, forcing them to disperse. The defeat of the Celtic fleet in the sea has delayed the Celtic Invasion of Hibernia.

Ji'e'Toh Raids on Celtia

The defeat of the Celtic fleet has left the Celtic interior wide open to attack.

In Belgica, three Ji'e'Toh armies destroyed one Wealth and looted another, bringing that wealth to Britannia Superior.

To add further insult to injury, the Ji'e'Toh raiders managed to defeat the Celtic garrison in the capital, stealing one wealth from the province and sending it back to Britannia Superior, and destroy two further wealth of the province.

Battle for Assyria

Two Egyptian armies defeated four Babylonian armies in the hilly province of Assyria, routing and destroying one army and forcing three other armies to flee.

Update 5

Gaul has taken the award for poorest military capability. Gaul has the second lowest quality army on the planet, and this has translated into several military defeats culminating in the embarrassing Battle of Celtica in which Ji'e'Toh forces swept away the Celtic navy (the Celtic navy is the lowest quality navy on the planet) and landed three armies unopposed in Belgica. These logistical armies pillaged the province before rapidly moving into Celtica, easily defeating the capital’s garrison, and laying waste to that province before returning back to waiting Ji’e’Toh ships in the north and setting sail for friendly territory: Ships full of women and loot.

In the East, the Egyptian-Babylonian War continues with the Egyptians ousting Babylonian forces from the hilly province of Assyria. The devastating battle and resulting occupation has wiped away the entirety of Assyria’s wealth, putting the two Egyptian armies in the province at peril of starvation and disease.

Egypt has risen to prominence. The quality of Egyptian land and naval forces is the highest in the world (Greeks don’t count since they don’t have a fleet). The Egyptian economy is the most powerful force in the planet, especially as it continues to penetrate deeper into Africa. However, Egypt’s ability to maintain this growth is increasingly in question as the empire continues its conquest of Babylon, and the powerful Carthaginian culture in the west continues to put pressure on its western borders.

In this respect, Egypt is the least stable country on the planet. The most stable countries, ironically, are Gaul and Far Aldazar Din; the former benefitting from a wealthy borderland in the east pressuring Moltus frontiers, and being unchallenged in the west thanks to the collapse of Carthage, and the latter benefitting from its isolation from the mainland.
===============================================================

Underneath the fort icon in each province is an empty box with a color. Green boxes represent provinces where the province's culture matches the official culture. Yellow boxes are provinces with foreign cultures, but the ruling culture is present. Red boxes are provinces where the culture is completely different from the ruling culture.

So. Assyria lost four wealth. I only attacked it with two armies. What exactly is the formula for wealth destruction?

From the Brothers of the Eagle to the Celts: Feel threatened. Feel very threatened.

From the Brothers of the Eagle to the Celts: Feel threatened. Feel very threatened.

Your lack of dishonour does not threaten us: it threatens your power against the spirit of the Celts. We could have been friends but you have chosen the path of war against a soulful empire.

We have increased our military drilling with trainers; these same heroes will make up for our over extensive defense force. You will in the end learn to respect the gods and their follower as we cut the heads of the eagles. We will free the Pict and the Breton. Those who choose war against the Celts will in the end throw their arms before us; we will take your shields.

We tell the Roman that we are unable to be aided by them since the raiders who worship the idol of the eagle are in a isle away from Rome but know that it Gaul falls then Rome may be right to feel threatened. We say the same warning to the Mullus, whose empire may itself be under suspect of monstrous raids should the fleet develop. Be warned and hopeful that the Gauls will with other Celtic peoples stand up against the warriors of chaos.

You used a triple negative.

Also, you kind of tried to take Hibernia when it was pretty clear they were going to go after it.
