I'm working on another LH - this one I intend to release after I improve it.

It's Abraham Lincoln.

As you can see, he still looks a lot like FDR. That's because I forgot to edit the normal file. But besides the normal file, are there any mistakes that I have made in portraying the former American President?

I want this to be as accurate as possible. Once it is, I will upload it.

I'm looking for what I did wrong, because the face doesn't really look like Lincoln.

On his right side near his frown/smile wrinkles he had a mole that pretty much makes him look like Abe to me. I'd also lose the hat and try to get his hair without it. And he had fairly large ears.

What woodelf said. Abe's hair seems to puff out a bit more than FDR's in most pictures of him, and the hat would be constricting that, thus making him less abey. Also, a bow tie would be nice, if that's doable (as it's also in most pics I can remember). Maybe slightly bushier on the sides, for the beard...

ditto to what woodelf said, the mole is absolutely neccesary. Also if you can do it, the beard wen up the sid of his face with sideburns, without it the beard looks small.

I want to thank you for making this LH, because its absolutely neccesary. What would be his attributes?
Spiritual, Industrial
Favored Civic: Emancipation
?

Abe is a very hard man to Mod, his face is very gaunt and destinctive and due to wide circulation of pennies/five dollar bills his face is well know (unlike say for example Hanibal). Overall its a nice job the clothing is good and the facial hair helps but it will never have that WHAM THATS LINCOLN effect unless you get into mesh warping stuff and cave the checks in and exagerate the checkbones.

And the more I think about it the eyes need to be more beady and dead. All of the grainy old pics have his eyes almost seeming lifeless to me. Nothing against old Abe, but he didn't seem to cheerful either.

I thought it was a pretty good job. the smile seemed a little smirky to me for lincoln and yeah you gotta find a way to do the mole. At least to me the eyes were nicely done, sunken but kind, it might not be genetic historical portrait but it is a pretty good poetic historical portrait.

Good job.

Is Hirohito still a project? I'd love to add these two to CIV Gold.
Yes, Hirohito is still a project. I had to scrap the old version because he just wouldn't show up with the normal/specularity/diffuse maps.

I will get to work on a new version.

From what I understand, he suffered from depression and was nearly suicidal for large chunks of his life. And his wife beat him.

Then those B&W photos really captured him well!

Dose anyone else think that Young Lincoln has a striking resemblance to Ralph Nader (also a bit younger then he is now), its the very gaunt face with the pronounced check bones.
