Acid Refulx

Why, Mr Q! Have you some particular condition you need his advice for?

Just a joke, I assure you. I'm not making a serious accusation. ;)

look, i wouldnt have had a problem if you had said "hey, maybe it's a parasite, you should have that checked out by a doctor" instead of claiming to know that it's a parasite.
without having run any tests. or being a doctor.

I am speaking from personal experience with that the first thing I experienced with this problem was simply just acid reflux. It progressively got worse and worse to the position it is now, which is basically total hell. I am speaking from experience, not out of suggestion since I know what is wrong with me and unfortunately it is a problem that has lacked coverage in mainstream medical literature due to poor thinking about the problem.

your are telling him he has a parasite due to your own experience?

just stop and think about how much sense that makes for a moment.

I get it from time to time, but since I started eating a bit better it hasn't been happening nearly as much.

And when it does? I turn to Tantac, the generic version of Zantac. It stops your stomach from producing the acidy stuff, instead of just neutralizing the acid that's already there. It seems to work the best for me.

If you're buying Zantac though, you're getting ripped off. Tantac is exactly the same. At least that's what I think it's called.. it's something-tac

eat better food, don't lay down after eating.

That's all I can help with.

This is clearly a case of an untrained cardiac sphincter.

Yeah I have chronic AR. Made me nauseous 24/7 for five months straight, most miserable, suicide contemplating period of my life. Omeprazole fixed it somehow and now I'm off it, but eating more veggies and meat, less condiments, acidy and spicy stuff as I can get a flare up here and there when I overindulge in crappy foods.

reflux has nothing to do with an allergic reaction, as far as i know?

A tad more than a parasite would. My son has had bad AR for over five years. He was finally diagnosed with a wheat allergy. The jury is still out. He also had a white yeast like substance throughout his esophagus for most of his life, that no one can explain. While allergic reactions may not generate too much acid, it could aggravate the situation. He was having chronic stomach pain as well.

One can always experiment on their own and change their diet to figure out what causes what. If they have the means to get a "professional" opinion, that is great. Neither ways are the right way nor the wrong way. They are just two ways of doing things.
