Acularius' GEM for Caveman2Cosmos

Hi, I'm new to the site, and mods. I wanted to help make an immense size world map and was wondering if there were any tools to help make one? I've got a blank immense map and was going to sorta draw the continents, but I couldn't get the proportions right.

i m playing world map scenario but there s no many famous countrys

is there other scenario too ? there is america.

and in world editor i can't change religion.

before i could change it. the holy city with editor.

ex) in my playing japan developed christ so i want to change it to rome holy city.

but this new version i can't change it. how can i do it?

and i have a question

i m playing with germany.

but suddenly it civ change to mexico. automatically.

what should i do?

i want to play keeping with germany.

I am reluctant to play the GEM maps because I keep thinking they are missing new stuff. Maybe I should not be worried?

Yes they are, Natural Wonders for one.

If someone gives me a list of what needs to be done, I can do it... if they don't want to deal with the part that comes after.

I just don't have the time so much any more to keep abreast of the current updates with C2C, although I do keep an eye on the overall movement of it on a whole.

So, if I get a list of what is currently missing, I'll sit down for an hour or so and get to it.
[I don't have as much time to data mine like I use to. :/ ]

As SO pointed out,
Natural Wonders need to be placed (not so much data mining needed where to place them as how to balance with existing starting locations etc)
and also the res "parrots", I think.

The caves will become more important so it could be nice to have some more of them, South Africas southern coast for instance has great archeological findings in caves, Mexico recently as well, Cappadocia (middle turkey, needs 2 caves I'd say - new culture I proposed), Spain, Southern Germany etc... maybe put one caves for each civ, at least around possible 2cnd city location? Exceptions in muddy/jungle, steppe etc, of course. Also, now the great barrier reef is there, I also liked so see a comeback of at least 3 Oceanian civs, like Australian/Polinesian/Maori, just for some flavour (they should be interconnected with coast tiles).

Lurkers, any other new res I am not aware of?

---- Rather than someone just going in and putting some new resources in, I think we need to re-do the resources as a whole. Mainly leave them as is but instead of just adding in new ones, we should replace some old resources that are in ample supply with new & more accurate ones.

If some people wanna help me, we can update it together.
We need to first go through and double check resources and terrain features to see if any others are missing or are present.

Then we should compile a list of where each individual resources should go. It doesn't have to be an extensive list, but if people could chip in with some pointers on where some things should go - so that for whoever ends up doing it (perhaps me), will find it easier/quicker.

Lastly I think I agree that Aboriginal tribe would be cool, or polynesian or maori. Definately no more than 1 though. Also I think this tribe would need some love - ie. a buff to the land. In particular they should have access via boats early to Asia, and/or possibly South America? I think England could use a nice buff too - expanding its land north with easy access to greenland and more fertile land around. Possibly also expand Japanese land north. Apart from this, do any other starting areas need to be buffed/nerfed?

Just a question:
We already have a fully done GEM, so I wonder, maybe SOMEONE would come up to a "challenge" of making some version of RFC-style quests for C2C?
Despite what you could think, this WASN'T triggered by my experience with them recently - I rather have been thinking about ti for a VERY long time already.
It would entail making AREAS on the map, as well as some slight UI fixes and goal formulating - Python it is.
If anyone of you is familiar with the RFC Python (I did look through it, but I'm a total NOOB Python-wise), it doesn't look too complicated to adjust to C2C's ways of civilizations.
Again, if nobody wants to do so - then nobody wants to do so, and that's all.
But MAYBE someone would want, just wasn't motivated enough... :D
Just imagine, how GREAT can "C2C: Relive the History" become. :D
