I don't see any rules about enforcing treaties, the only penalty is losing reputation.
Thus treaties worth almost nothing in game?
Good to know if i ever play another one.

Note to remember guys vote against Tech Trades enabled. I know I learned my lesson.

Dear Admins, i'm thinking to give up, since i'm the only active player in Team Sirius, only supported by AlphaShard. No one else is still in team.

The situation became bad for us. You can see my thoughts here and few posts above, if you're interested.

Thank you very much for your work and for a very interesting map set up.
My only complaint is for the uranium, which i hoped you removed from the map. But this is my taste of the game, not a true complaint.

I think you can see in Civstats if and when i'll let to the AI.

If you're giving up that's your decision BLubmuz, but someone should at least play out the turns with dignity. If all someone has to do is log in and play the turns, and not have to answer to anyone but themselves, we should be able to get someone to do it.

Alphashard might, if he no longer has to worry about making sure he does everything in line with other people's expectations. Lord Parkin hasn't been active for a while but I'm betting he'd at least play the turns rather than let the whole team quit to AI. I can't volunteer myself for the same reasons I had to leave active participation previously, but I do actually have some spare time for a couple of days to cover a gap if needs be.

So please don't resign the team to AI until we've confirmed no-one else will play out the turns.

If I play the turns I will go for peace, even if it means giving over techs just to survive.

Time is not an issue, watchting my ass getting handed to me however is.

Before we decide to give up, we want at least have your opinion on the following:
CDZ can gift (or sell, or else) units to anyone.
But i doubt an Amazon team member can play their turns without informing the Admins.
For sure any city gift must be communicated to the Admins and i haven't seen nothing about it.
Then i'm almost sure Amazon moved before to declare the galleon they used to attack our city right after declared. I remember that galleon was 1 or 2 E+1S of the first city they razed and i did not understood why it was there (we were at peace). I'm also sure that the fort they used to move their naval units was not there before the war. I can't say it for sure, but probably they moved many units using our OB agreement before to declare.

I'm not sure how to read this point of the rules, or if it applies to that situation:
5.4 -- Declaring war

For the purpose of movement, declaring war will count as movement. Once war has been declared, the party declaring war has to finish moving all of their units and end their turn before half of the remaining turn time has elapsed since the declaration of war, or within half an hour, whichever is longer

In cases where a war declaration occurs and the side declared upon (the declared) still has units to move, the declared may still move these units, and this counts as a move for the purpose of which party gets phase 2 in all subsequent turns.

ALL DECLARATIONS OF WAR, AND ENDED TURNS, SHOULD BE DOCUMENTED via screenshot Also, please send an email stating you have declared war. This isn't a rule, it won't be enforced, but as said below it is good manners.
This is a copy/paste of a post in another thread. I must add that i started to actively play this game only few weeks ago and others were the team's "lawyers", so my superficial knowkledge of the rules can be excused. I paused the game, waiting for your answer.

About the cities gift, please read the post below (so i can be sure you see a new post, in case you're reading now)

Cities gift:

Amazon took Merlot's island. I'm absolutely sure CDZ were not actively involved in that fight.
To avoid any discussion on that matter, the in-game log reports that Amazon took all Merlot's cities between 1470 and 1505 AD
But now CDZ have 2 cities in that island.
I noticed that when i gave them a tech (to honor that damn ETT) and asked for their WM. At the moment i did not thought nothing, but now i carefully read the rules.

OTOH i'm sure Amazon is well aware of the rules. They simply ignored this one.

1. Amazon was very careful about not logging in until they declared war. They were the ones who complained the rules weren't strict enough.

2. I approve the Amazon-CDZ city trade.

They did it 2 turns later. Unfortunately i have no proof of what i said. At the time i didn't care much to count every foreign (not enemy) unit in every tile. We were at peace and under a NAP.
I suppose that even if i give you access to the game and you can reload the save before the war starts and the one after to verify yourself the units positions you won't change your mind?
2. I approve the Amazon-CDZ city trade.
Even if it has been communicated just now? And by a 3rd party?
Let me be disappointed, at least.

This one seems a rubber wall to me. OK i unpause.

One more thing: who's playing CDZ turns?

CDZ is being played by socralynnek.

Unfortunately Amazon caught you moving 4 artillery during their turn, so I had to delete them.
Sorry, did nont actually moved them, but just unloaded from a transport. It was a misclick, would hit skip turn (selected it to verify, can't do anything), but unloaded it.

Before to take any decision it would be better listen to any part.

You despatched my complaints on their war declaration and on their cities gift telling that all was done correctly. I'm sure it wasn't.

Now, please give us back those units, with all the XPs they had.

It seems to me that you're using two weights and two measures.

I will not log until i got the answer i want. If you want Amazon win this game making what they want with the rules, have it.

That was a really unfair way of dealing with that issue. I would have appreciated the decency to have been told re issue before a ruling was made. I agree with Blubmuz.

CDZ is being played by socralynnek
Maybe, but he's the only player in his team, since he's not active in the forums. Basically he turned CDZ in an Amazon vassal, providing them units and gold.

I think that a team must try to win, not to ease the life to another. One thing is the alliance we used to have, another is what is happening between that two.

And what you tell me about Amazon playing as Quatronia? Fair? i doubt. If Quat does not have an active player, they must give to the AI, not to another team.

Every team is supposed to play for his own victory.
From what i can see, Amazon have 2 actual vassals, being those in game excluded.

And you let this happen? Which rule can permit this?

If there's some doubt on my conduct in the last turn, you can always reload it from the start.

But please remember there's Photoshop around.

They seem like Vassels with all the benefits and no drawbacks. Quat already admitted they haven't been trying to win. I am seeing now why Alltira quit.

How about the following options:

1) put the units back on the ship.
2) Put the units back in the nearest Sirius controlled city.

I am seriously dissapointed in the Admin's treatment of the this issue. When Sommerswerd did a misclick and a city was settled accidently, Sirius as a team voted to allow him to have a reload to fix the issue. We don't even get so much as by the way until were punished for the SAME kind of mistake.

If you admitted a misclick right away, I would have considered a reload or a promise not to attack with them next turn.

I'm trying to be fair and keep the game going, but it is beginning to look like that's impossible to do. :(

The problem is that I wasn't even AWARE that we had done something wrong to begin with. It's looking like this team is going to AI soon anyways.

1) The misclick just revealed units already there (loaded on a transport and thus invisible)
2) Nobody asked me nothing. I've just seen that Sommerswerd paused the game.

3) The units you deleted were plain wrong. I don't know what Sommerswerd have seen, but surely i knew he was online. Do you think i'm stupid?

3a) with railroads, being in any tile less than 20 tiles away from the front (basically where any unit is in that area) changes nothing respect being 3 or 5 tiles away.

4) You're killing this game with your conduct. It's not possible to have one Team actually controlling 3, then invent any sort of tricks when he's going to have a good stack of units gettin smashed. Surely they could not have thought i was building forts and so i could block their Navy. Like i haven't seen the transport hidden in the fog. But now they're crying, poor boys. They've lost some ship and they're goin' to lose 12 units or so, so they need to invent something. Go on, they will surely win. Nothing.

To finish this dispute, or you give us back our units or it's game over for us. Then Amazon can have his game. I don't know whith what kind of satisfaction, but that is.

We already discussed this matter, even before this episode. What Amazon is doing is simply unacceptable. Some member left the game due to this, even before Amazon declared.

To have this game goin i put this conditions:
1) give me back what you stolen me
2) stop have Amazon play for Quatronia
3) tell Socralynneck to play for win or to let to the AI. The best thing would be he declares on Amazon, so they can wipe CDZ and pay maintenance for all the cities they're actually using.
4) i wanna see the answer in the public thread, not here.

You're welcome to ask Amazon publicly or privately to accept those conditions.

I'm done trying to argue either way.
