But as you say it is a unique game.

My Vote: I would like to continue when we can get a replacement.

As I understand it, no Civ on Earth will be terminated. This is a race to get to Alpha Centauri to establish a colony based on one of Alpha Centauri 's original 7 survivor colonies, each with a distinct perspective/outlook, in the Civ4 adapted mod Planetfall.

If there is a total nuclear wipeout, I presume choice in part 2 will be based on stage of progress towards journey to Alpha Centauri, with the assumption that a colony escape pod succeeded in escaping earth.

Tigranes you would be a game saver! I'll have to be corrected but Natuland built the Wonder to create Nukes and started building an ICBM which America took notice of and destroyed, taking the city in which it was built.

Hercules is exactly correct, my concept of the game was to agree to not destroy/eliminate any of the 7 players chosen by the World to create 7 distinct Factions on Alpha Centari. So hint, all players must be able to launch their ship

EDIT;
Not being able to eliminate a player sounds boring in a way but this game is a Prequel/Prologue to Planet Fall. And Planet fall is going to be an unique game itself. But back to ATL, we have players possibly watching each others back which could translate into alliances which would be nice to have in Planet Fall where each player will be more linear. Imaging your strategy is to topple a player attempt to finish a part of his SS so you becomes ahead but your are raided after the fact or because you did that.

Getting closer and closer to launching your spaceship will take a considerable strategy, there'll be nothing simple about it.

Yes that is step #2
I've asked "methinkso" to load the save and do the admin stuff so I don't see this position/situation, I'll forward him your email address to play the turn.

But for now we use traditional emailing of turns until Tigranes is settled and the transition completed

And thanks again for taking the position, There is a place for you on Alpha Centauri, and those you leave behind await your Launch.

Oh my, I am so so sorry to hear of the passing of Bryan/Natuland. Eclipse, you knew him personally, so I am sorry for your loss and please pass on the word to his wife that the community passes on their condolences. It's scary how short real life can be, and we all can only hope that our lives will live on through the continuation of a civilization we started, I think we can all agree on that! Life is short, so let's enjoy it the best ways we know how.
