After the Launch

But I guess he felt under threat.

I don´t see why. He was under the protection the United States until he overstepped his bounds.

Anyway, when can I see your offer for unconditional surrender Tigranes?

The ball is in your court, when you get your turn. Make me an offer. You want me to be your vassal? I can still launch a spaceship and start free on new planet, you know?

You really don't know me, do you? Besides, I know from other games how large of a burden an unwilling vassal with loads of creativity can be for a master. :mischief:

Actually I'm fine with letting you keep your sovereignty, I'm even willing to gift you your cities back. There's only two conditions you have to fulfill if you don't want to be in for a world of pain:

1.: Do not build Nukes. Ever.
2.: Your Transports will at the end of each turn never be in range of an American city.

That should be enough for a lasting peace between us. I'm looking forward to resuming trade with Germany after you have agreed to this deal.

By the way, sorry to butt in... but if you wanted a two-way conversation I assume it would have been via PM. Back to lurker status... for now. :D

Be sure that the deal is unilateral before you sign... ;)

Of course, what else would it be?

Nah, you can chime in any time, and besides we do not have anything to hide. The whole world shall see the superiority of the American way, with liberty, the pursuit of happiness and justice for all.

I can live without nukes. And as a last civ I have few other problems to tackle instead of sending Transports against the first civ. Deal.

Outstanding! Marshall Plan is on the way my new best friend!

Can someone add me to this game on tracker? I am not sure even who has the turn...

I changed my ingame name to 'Lincoln (Imperator Knoedel)', Eclipse should change that in the Tracker also.

Anyway peace has been restored between the United States and the new management of Germany. Munich and Cologne have been returned and all nuclear warheads still in production will be handed over to us once they are finished. This is the beginning of a wonderful friendship.
(Tigranes, due to the stupid way the trading screen works in PBEMs I ask you to disregard the first offer coming from me and accept the second instead. That is if both offers I sent actually show up when you get your turn.)

For more unpleasant news the Portugal government seems unable to take a hint, or several as it were. Our local agents have sabotaged their Uranium refinement facilities also and we would like to remind Mr. Oliver what happened to the last country ignoring our request to stop assembling nukes.

It's possible to mine uranium and not build nukes. Just ask Iraq Iran.

As a UN representative, am I allowed to check the US for uranium? ;)

Don´t you mean Iran?

No need, we have enough, but thanks for the offer!
