Never. I only play Deity. After the classical era, more often than not the AI ignores me. I never take cities, never bother trying to make the AI like me. On the rare occasions when the AI attacks after the early eras, I've never seen it bring sophisticated weapons like nukes

My cities have been nuked before, I think 1 in 30 games. I still believe the AI use of nukes depend on which civ they are playing, and if their trait leans more on warmongering.

I got nuked for the first time last week. That's to say it dropped three nukes on a small, empty city I had conquered a couple turns earlier. Can't for the life of me remember who it was though...

I don't think it's ever happened, but I usually only play on king or emperor, and usually in peaceful games.

It happens sometimes in Civ V though

In one R&F game my capital was nuked twice. And in all other games nukes were used if not against me then against somebody else.

It's impossible to nuke or get nuked, the game is so imbalanced and the AI so poor that any game, at any difficulty, is over one way or the other long before nukes can even be built.

I got Nuked twice in the last 200 hours.
I usually play on King-immortal on quick speed.I usually don't do warmongering but both the times I got Nuked I was going for world domination.
But I do think most of the times you don't see much Nukes because the game is finished before AI can even build them.

This issue will most probably get solved with GS as games will tend to be longer with that extra era of civic and tech.

Never been nuked on Prince, King, or emperor games. As mentioned above, this may change with GS focusing on longer games and late game stuff.

Now I am tempted to play a game real late and see if I can get myself nuked. That is my goal before GS comes out. :) The main issue is lately I've been focusing on winning my games early. The AI most surely doesn't even have nukes yet, let alone did Manhattan project.

I have read in the previous thread about AI nuke usage that they usually won't unless you nuke them first, so I may try that.

I’ve played late game and never have been nuked it pissed me off ... even when I play the nuke multiplayer scenario and the AI will not use nukes ... really bugs me

647 hrs logged in Steam, about 200 hrs on the Ipad, I play King and up usually. Aggressive play style often, but won all conditions ofc and I've played both tall and (usually) wide. Never been nuked, and I can't even recall ever being bombed - but that might have happened.

I've never been nuked, either, and I'm a poor enough player that I occasionally lose to A.I. spaceships on Immortal and Deity. Never seen a computer-built silo, either.

I've been nuked by the AI once. It was a while ago, so I'm not positive on the specifics, but I believe I was playing on King or Prince and mostly just messing around. I settled a tundra city on a new continent (there might have been a natural wonder involved?) and the civ to the city's south nuked it a while later (I had enough time to get a couple districts up). I was surprised because I hadn't done anything to provoke them really; there was enough distance that I didn't get the "you settle too close!" message. I can't remember which civ it was, and I think it was post R&F but could be wrong.

I've never been nuked by the AI or seen them build a missile silo. I usually play at Immortal level if I want a long game, or Warlord for a quickie.

That’s crazy to me ... Ed beach I hope your listening !!!
EdBeach: Oh c'mon...all you wanted is canals! Nobody asked for better AI.
