air units won't move

my air units won't seem to meve like the other units, is that normal?
I can select them, but that's it...
 
That's because they can't be moved like other units. They can only be sent to bombard tiles within range or to rebase to other cities, airfields or carriers.
 
Yes, in Civ II air units moved and attacked like normal units. They just got destroyed when they ran out of turns.

Yes, all air units now have an Immobile flag. You have to move them with the Rebase command only. Look at the buttons at the bottom of the screen when one becomes active, click it, then select a city, air base or Carrier to send it to. To get them to attack, press the B(ombard) key or Shift-B, which will automate the unti to bombard the same target every turn.
 
You'll probably want to set your Fighters to Air Superiority, though (the button with the three arrows converging). Stealth Fighters / Bombers can also run Precision Strikes (hit buildings only, chosen randomly) after you've researched Smart Weapons.
